I don't think he's playing for the National team anymore, he's still playing for As Roma. Donadoni said that he'll start playing for the Euro 2008 qualifiers in September..

yeah the azzurri need him...he wasnt in his best shape this summer but im sure once he fully recovers he will rejoin the squad and they will become champions once again
