My Mother-in-law told me that since Logan, my son, has started teehing so late that he'll probably cut 3-4 teeth at a time. He has been really fussy today and I'm afraid that the worst is yet to come. Does anyone have any home remedies or any advice about what worked for you? I'll accept any advice and at this point I'll try anything EXCEPT rubbing whiskey or beer on his gums. I've heard that one before and I'm not about to try it! PLEASE HELP!

evolution requires survival of the fittest. Therefore it is against nature to save babies who are born weak and diseased, as they would be a threat to the human gene pool in later life. What stops us from killing them? Well, it's our morals. And many people often obtain these morals thorough the guidance of religion. Is that such a bad thing?

I am not a techie, but I am not ready to jump on the Blu-Ray bandwagon.

Beta - OK but short lived
VHS - Better than Beta and made Beta Obsolete
Laser Disc - Better quality, but had to flip over a big disc. Didn't take over from VHS
DVD- Better than LD and took over the home video market... DVD players started out at $400 or more. Now they are really cheap.
Blu-Ray??? Will they just be a stepping stone to something else? Will they make DVD Obsulete? Do we really want/need something so clear that we can see Hollywood Actor's zits? Will the Blu-Ray players end up costing $20 if we just wait? Will the "clearer, better" picture make any difference in how much we enjoy a movie?

I think it's just a bunch of hype to get us to spend $$$$$$

But I could be wrong.......

Although Chicago is famous for its deepdish, I actually prefer the thin-crust pizza that I have only been able to find in Chicago. The crust is VERY thin and crisp, almost like a cracker (not like NYC-style greasy floppy), and usually cut into squares. Those who have been to Barcello's in Chitown know what I mean. I have been unsuccessful at locating similar fare in NYC, so I'd like to attempt to make it myself.

Is it just me or is it frustrating when you have to pick and chose your words all the time so you won't offend anyone. It's aggrevating for me because I always mean well and when I say something people always get defensive and rude. They attack you right off the bat without even asking you to clarify your statement.

Either you still have time or perhaps it's too late. Obviously that depends on their ages. Are there still things that you still could do, even this week, that you just haven't seemed to have found the time to get to?
How would you advise yourself or your spouse on being a better parent?
Please give the age and sex of each child!

Do the math.

Get a copy of the US budget, find the programs you hate, add them all up, then figure out the percentage they represent of the entire budget,

Then apply that percentage to your most recent tax filing.

Remember, 50% goes to the military and 30% goes to interest on the debt. That leaves 20% for everything else, from dredging the Mississippi, to direct welfare payments, to corporate welfare., to roads in natonal parks.

Do the math.

When I want to say that some one, like W. Bush, e.g., is since a given time in the past, killing some people and goes on doing this, can I use that such form?

"Bush and Blair 'have been killing' thousand civilians and young militars in Iraq".

Or should I say

"Bush and Blair 'is killing' thousand ...".

Tnx!

Ie - B r a z i l

ps: I choose this content to ask this because I think that about Bush and Blair... Sorry if I offended some of you. It was not my motivation.
