you can dye it but i dont advice you to do it your self. soemtimes you don't get the colour we actually want. i am a textile designer and i know the technicality of such clothing dyes. Usually your wedding dress are poleyster mix which can be difficult to dye and to get a particular colour. i say get it proffessionaly done as it's a longer process than washing it in the machine.

I don't know why not. The only thing you should be concerned with is the ornamentation on the dress and the type of fabric it is.
Those two things should tell you whether or not the dress could be dyed. I would ask one of the salespeople at the store where you buy it, or see if there's a manufacturer number you could call. You could also find out by asking here on a sewing section what types of fabric that would work for.

I definately dont think so. I think a wedding dress should be only worn once (unless you want to pass it down through generations) its your wedding dress why would you? you could show it to your kids when they get older. You can look at it just to remeber the day that your wedding was like, to remeber that day that you bought the dress. Unless of course you break up with the person, and you really like the dress then i definately think you should die it another color!
Good luck, just think about it and try to think of some of the consequences of dying your special days dress! bye!

Wow, it quite is a important boo-boo! i think of in line with risk you would be unrealistic to truly anticipate it on Tuesday, 2 days till now the final available day. yet you already know what, if I have been you, i'd supply them an quite great, very vocal piece of my suggestions, and enable them to understand that if their irresponsibliity renders that $seven hundred costume unusable, i'd look into taking them to small claims courtroom and that i'd actually record them to all shopper Bureaus. to no longer point out, they understand that better than the rest, maximum brides hear to their friends/sisters/cousins, etc. who've married for reccomendations for distributors. subsequently, incredibly considering the fact that it incredibly is obviously a screwup on their section, the possibility of each and every bride-to-be you already know looking out approximately them purely forgetting to regulate the costume would be very very undesirable for business enterprise. i'd recommend you tell them which you anticipate them to have that costume waiting to be picked up by skill of the top of the day on Wednesday, or they're going to make preparations which you will have an option, equivalent costume, waiting to be taken homestead with you on Thursday afternoon. it incredibly is their screwup, and that they might desire to make each and every attempt to rectify the area, including putting in some better final-minute hours. if that they were in charge with the costume at first, this problem does not exist.

Yes, it can be dyed. However, if the dress is made of several different fabrics and they aren't all washable, you should have a professional do it (cleaners). Also, pearls or other adornment may not take to the dye or may dye a slightly different color.

Yes it is easy to dye it, even DIY.
However, watch the fabric.
Many fabric's will not dye easily and some not at all.

Yes... in fact, you could do it yourself. Just a few drops of dye in the washing machine does the trick... depending on the shade.
