I lost my library card and I'm dying to go to the library!

Go to the library and tell the circulation desk people that you've lost your card. They more than likely have your name in their system and know that you're a card-holder. They can issue you a new card.

You could go to the library and buy a new library card. I'm sure they will let you get a new one.

well if you lost your library card and your dying to go to the library I think that you should look hard for it. And if you can't find it you should get a new one.

At the library system, I work for patrons simply show their photo ID and update their personal information (adress, phone number, etc) and we charge them a dollar and issue them a new card. However, the area I live in is mostly rural and the towns all have under 25k population so most times the librarians just check the person out by using their name.

you're probaly symboling the library card with something else in your life. think about what you've lost recently, or what is it that you really crave. try to think about how does being at the library make you feel and think of other things that also make you feel the same way.
about your library card, they'll just issue a new one.
