I grew up a staunch Christian. However, going to college, growing up and doing a lot of research, there seems to be absolutely no proof that Jesus or Mohamed ever existed. There seems to be no hard evidence that the Quo ran or the Bible is authentic. No person can come forward and perform a non staged miracle. Can some one prove me otherwise without making any references to the Bible or Quo ran?

Im talking about someone currently living. I was thinking the pope or the dalai lama, but probably more likely the dalai lama because there are more people in India/Asia then the Americas and Europe. I was also thinking maybe David Beckham or some other big soccer star becuase nearly every country watches soccer. President Bush or some other political leader or dictator might be a contender also. What do you think? Anyone have any other ideas?

well its new year, and I don't know what to do. My parents are divorced, and this is the first time, out of three previous new years, that they are both doing nothing at all. I want to be with both, but i can't. Also, a friend has invited me to their house for a bit. I will probably go there first, then later (maybe after new year) I will go to one of the parents house. The only problem is that I am going to feel guilty about not being at the other parent's hous, and now my mum wants a talk at some point because she thinks there might be something wrong if i feel guilty. any advice????

Why or why not? I read a Christopher Hichens acticle in Vanity Fair that made the claim that women aren't funny until they get to be older, due to the way they are wired for reproduction.
He claimed that men are funny solely to get the attention of females in order to reproduce. So according to him all humor comes down to sex.
