I love fashion and beauty and love writing and reading. I also love magazines. Writing for a good magazine in New York has been my one and only dream of mine. I want to be a fashion/beauty editor for either: Seventeen, Cosmogirl, or Allure magazine.
Everytime people ask me what I want to do when I grow up I tell them I want to be a fashion magazine editor for one of my favorite magazines. They always laugh it me and tell me how stupid the job is. They also I shouldn't do it because it's hard business. And that it takes a long time to become an editor. Is my job that I want to do stupid?
What should I do? I'm so discouraged ....

Just wondering, because they are a few million years old, and well, according to Christains, the Earth is only about 5000 years old.

The Bible was written before Dinosaurs were really discovered, so it makes sense that this story wouldn't think that there was any evidence of life before God "created" humans. That totally blows the cover off the thing, doesn't it? It was also before any scientific evidence of evolution, because back then, they really didn't have the technology. It's such a BS story, and I don't get how people can believe in it.

One other thing. In the Bible, God and Jesus work with people, they talk to them, they do things for them, they help them. Now-a-days, it's seems as if there is no God or Jesus talking to us, or helping us. Have they given up on us? If they were so willing to participate with humans back then, why don't they do it now? God sent angels down that talked to people and such, but nothing now?

I think the "Bible" is what it says, "Buy Bull"

For example, when RVs do not tow cars on a flatbed, do the cars actually record all the mileage for which they are towed? Does it make a difference as to whether or not it is the front wheels or back wheels that are on the pavement?

for all this weeks when i was going to chruch. there was this girl. one sunday i open the chruch door and want a place to sit and there was 3 girls siting there. And one of the girl when i look at her she open her mouth and look at me. then after i look longer she close her eyes half-way and move her mouth. then nextweek i go find a place to sit and i look around she look at me i look back we look in are eyes for long. then she want to sit whit her firend then saw was siting the same way i was siting in chruch but she was messing her hair and looking at me. then after i go washroom and i came back to sit and she wipser then to her firend. why and when chruch was over she and her firend look at me for like 50secs.? why me and this girl is speachless noone say noting never?

i mean, honestly, what difference does it make if its real or not (though i do not see how anybody can deny it.) why is it going to hurt anybody to live cleaner lives, drive cleaner cars? is it truely due to the oil companies not wanting competition? how much is it really going to hurt your lives to toss aside the big SUVs and get a cleaner hybrid car? hey, it even saves you a fortune on gas. and so what if we make our factories follow stricter standards on pollution. even if you dont believe we are warming the globe, we still create too much smog which is bad for us, and pollute our rivers and lakes beyond help.

and another thing...why take the chance? do you really want to wait until the ice caps completely melt and half the world is under water before you do something? why not start now? even if the scientists are wrong, its not like you have lost anything. but if they are right and you do nothing, our world will be forever changed. i dont understand the controversy

I know him, not too well but I know him. Never thought anything of it until recently, now hes on my mind all the time. I 'talk' to him and we sit and listen to music together but its all in my head. Its like a film running through my mind. I am not actively controlling the thoughts, they are there like a waking dream. Its not unpleasant at all and it does not bother me, though I am curious about it.

I don't have any allergies that i know of. i keep getting the middle of my nose itching like crazy!! i guess it would be the septum, the middle piece in between the nostrils. it just itches like crazy, and it doesn't matter where i am, work, home car etc...any clue what could be causing this?

I have a friend that is in desperate need of some help. He started out with a promising future, good job, marriage, purchased a home. He hooked up with the wrong people, got hooked on crack, then lost his job, his wife and his home. He’s been to rehab, no help, because he went in for the crack addiction but did not mention to them that he was an alcoholic and a compulsive gambler. He has had his driver’s license suspended, ( he was a truck driver),due to DUI , DWI’s and did not pay his fines and has done time for drug possession and have not held a steady job in years. If it wasn’t for family and friends he would not have a place to live or clothes on his body. He is a middle aged guy and although there are support groups out there for younger people, you just cannot find groups that can help a person of his age with what he is experiencing. It seems that he has just given up on life. Is there any help or hope for this person?
