Can't we have fair laws in india ? This new bill gives protection only to women. what about men who are victim particularly from the hands of their wifes? Though its rare but it happens. Are our politicians stupid? why simply not make a bill which states that anybody who commits domestic violence against anybody male or female will be punished? Thats the case in America and Britain. If in america a women hits her husband or another man then she is punished. Everybody is suppose to be equal before law then why so much discrimination in India?. If we are not ready to accept that women can commit domestic violence then we are fools. women these days are commiting all kinds of crimes. women have been recruited even as terrorists. Don't forget that Rajiv Gandhi was killed by a women.Women rights should be respected but they certainly cannot be above the principals of equalty and law. Laws should be made to deliver justice to the people and not legal terrorism to the male population.

My baby is six weeks and for the past few weeks she straightens her legs out and i say shes standing up because im barely holding on to her. My mother decides now is the time to tell me that i might make her bowlegged if i let her do that now. I thought it was cute that my baby was "standing up" but now i think i might have messed up her legs. If it does make them bow legged will it fix it self as she gets older? I would really feel bad if she was bow legged because of me.

My baby will soon be too big for swings. I want to put him in a stand alone device. What are some experiences with the jumpers? (the contraption that baby sits in and the seat is hooked to "cables". The child then jumps all around.) Does this hinder development? i.e. walking on tip toes. Is a better bet using the seat-n-saucer type with toys around it?

i have one credit card. and i just got my second one today. i almost feel like thats too much. when i was in my teens and started getting credit cards applications, my mom scared me stiff about them, saying i'll ruin my credit and i'll never have anything. well, i'm 22 and have perfect credit. so i guess she helped me out alot. i'll NEVER forget to keep on top of my bills! lol. anyway. i was just curious to see how many credit cards the average person has!

Problem: My cousins just moved in and aren't very secure about themselves due to the way they look physique wise. (Cousin and son). I asked them if it was ok for them that I be in boxers and they gave me the heads up. Yet my cousin throws negative comments towards me about my build and yet to look at his structure, he is nowhere near the physique I have and I maintain a good healthy one lifting weights. He is 40 looking looking like 50. Question: They are fully clothed in the house at ALL times even coming out of the shower!!! I want to confront my cousin about this but am afraid that he might take it offensively and take it otherwise. I want them to be and feel at home and NOT be self conscious about themselves. I have taught my other nephew to never feel embarrased or uncomfortable of the way he or anyone else looks. Things can be worked out through diet and exercise and he has come to accept it. Problem is, How can I go about this and say the same to my cousin? Any suggestions?

My mother and I don't get a long that great or should i say at all. We try and try but it seems as though after a week of trying we just stop contacting each other and what not. Well my dilema is, is that Christmas is now 2 days away and I have not yet spoke to my mom. Its not that i don't want to its just that i don't know what to say and i don't want to yell at me for not calling (because thats what she normally does when i don't call) Oh btw I'm 21 living 1hr and half away from her with my boyfriend so having the no communication isn't that hard to achieve. But i don't want to miss being with my mom over the holidays but i can't just barge in and if i called her she is going to ask why i haven't called before and then we will just get into another argument. Does anyone out there have any suggestions as to what i can do to make this weekend a happy joyful one with my mom involved without me having the feel like a piece of sh*t.... please help i don't want to lose my mom.
