That is not necessarily true. It depends on the circles that you run with. I have seen just as many women break their men's heart.
From my point of view as a male, I can tell you WHY many men stray:
- They were immature when they entered the relationship...this applies to men and women.
- They were attracted by the sex more than the person. When the sex goes away, so do they. I would blame the men and women equally for this. Some men have unreasonable expectations; some women lure the men and then cut it off when they get what they want (husband, baby, home, security, etc.)
- They changed over time. You are different at 40 than you are at 18. That high school sweetheart may be dumb as dirt and you realize that you are looking for an intellectual equal. Although this happens to both sexes, I think men act on this more than women. Women would rather live unhappy in a secure home with their children.
Some of this discussion may tie to our genetic makeup and instinct. Our ancestors may not have been monogamous and the women were the homebodies taking care of children, motivated by the stability. The men hunted and gathered over large territories, perhaps having multiple mates in various locations less bound to the home.
Men are sexually active their whole lives, while women are not .

I think they just get caught more. Who's to say that they are more than a woman. All in all relationships, marriage doesn't mean a thing these days. It's too easy to walk away or not be true. Morals, values, honesty, being true to one another what happened? 30, really in the 60's it all started to get to simple to walk away. If your married it's the kids that suffer. Good luck to you. I hope you find a good person.

i often wonder that same question. if a man has someone that will stand by him through absolutely everything 100%, and make sure they are the happiest person, and give him anything and everything, then what the point of cheating. i think its a "man" thing. they need to feel needed and wanted and they want to be the "almighty beast". its quite frustrating for us ladies when we feel s**t on.

I have two ideas on that, 1, Because god wants the world to flourish? 2, Both genders can be equally unfaithful.

Men are always cheating. They are scumbags. They act like they can not keep their penis in their pants. Going from one woman to the next. They should be ashamed of themselves.
