Problem: My cousins just moved in and aren't very secure about themselves due to the way they look physique wise. (Cousin and son). I asked them if it was ok for them that I be in boxers and they gave me the heads up. Yet my cousin throws negative comments towards me about my build and yet to look at his structure, he is nowhere near the physique I have and I maintain a good healthy one lifting weights. He is 40 looking looking like 50. Question: They are fully clothed in the house at ALL times even coming out of the shower!!! I want to confront my cousin about this but am afraid that he might take it offensively and take it otherwise. I want them to be and feel at home and NOT be self conscious about themselves. I have taught my other nephew to never feel embarrased or uncomfortable of the way he or anyone else looks. Things can be worked out through diet and exercise and he has come to accept it. Problem is, How can I go about this and say the same to my cousin? Any suggestions?

You should be completely natural about your own body and not worry about their behavior or reactions. If they have hang-ups about another guy in boxers or even naked then it's their problem, not yours. Don't they ever go to a gym? Seeing other guys naked shouldn't be a problem - and boxers definitely shouldn't be!

Some people are just embarassed that they have a body at all.

It's your house. Do what you want. And over time you'll see that you might change their views.
