Since you are "Wiccan" you know there is no such place as "Hell". That is unless you count having to deal with all the ignorant, close-minded people who have answered you. I really don't understand how a "good, loving Christian" can be so hateful. In general we are not hateful towards them, so it can't be defensive. They don't want to learn what we are about. They have made up their minds based on what someone else has told them and on a book that has been revised and re-written innumerable times. They are totally incapable of original thoughts and quote scripture quite well. I also don't understand how they can be so quick to judge others, isn't that against their own teaching "judge not lest ye be judged"? And just whay is so bad about "do as thou wilt an in it harm none"? And yes, I believe Jesus existed, I also believe he was a great teacher, it is just a shame that those who claim to follow him have not learned from his teachings! Which, by the way, are not only in the Christian bible but also in the Quoran. And also in Buddhist teachings (Yesu is considered a Buddhist saint, Jesus actually studied Buddhism in India as a young man). I have many Christian friends, so I know that these idiots do not represent the majority. I will not bash Christianity, only the dim-wits who act so viciously towards us. Whatever happened to Christian love, tolerance & understanding? If they really knew anything about Wicca they would realize that we LIVE what we believe, i.e. love, tolerance & understanding, (those same things they "claim" to hold dear). Not just on Sunday, then ask for forgiveness for our indisgressions. We live it 24/7. I think it would be better if they turned their hatred toward pedophiles and abusers!
Sorry about the ranting, but I have a real difficult time dealing with ignorance.

Wiccans don't believe in Hell, or the Devil. You can't go somewhere that does not exist.

We believe that each and every human being is completely responsible for his or her own actions. To us, evil is a choice, albeit a bad one, that a human might make, not an embodied entity to blame our actions upon.

If an individual chooses to do evil, most pagans believe they will be punished via the laws of karma or as a result of "cause and effect.". In other words, "What goes around usually comes around."

Many Witches and Wiccans believe in some form of reincarnation, that the results or karma of past deeds can follow a person from one life to the next. This may also help to explain why terrible things sometimes happen to wonderful people or why some people seem to have been born with certain skills and knowledge. It may also explain why some people seem to lead a 'charmed" life.

Some pagans believe in an after-life spent in another plain of existence. Known as Summerland, Avalon, Valhalla or simply the "Other Side', they believe that they will be reunited here once again with friends and family.

Wiccans don't believe in Jesus or God in the Christian sense. They generally believe in a God and Goddess which are part of nature. They don't believe in Hell, so if you are Wiccan. I wouldn't worry about it.

Depends on your definition of Hell. In Hebrew and Greek, it's the grave. The fiery image modern Christianity gives today comes down thru myth and much of it sounds like Dante's Inferno.

There is no Absolute Proof of any image of God given. People have faith that the image they hold close is 100% correct. That is the only proof they have... proof of and for themselves. I can not provide you proof that the image I see is 100% accurate. It's the same for everyone. Look within. *wink*

I hate to sound rude when speaking to a fellow Pagan, especially one I don't know, but how can you go to a hell that you don't believe in? You're contradicting your own religion.

And to all of those who are quoting the bible, there is not accurate reference to the word "witch". When translated "witch" was put in place of the hebrew word for poisoner. So, turn your bible sideways and insert it forcefully into your anus.

And no, as a Wiccan you do not have to despise any other religion. The same goes for Christianity, you despise things because you are close minded -- nothing else.

Yes. No. Who cares. If you are worried about hell, maybe your wiccan ain't lit yet. Many people believe in God and Jesus, They just see them through different eyes. The proof is all around for all faiths and beliefs and for the absence of beliefs. It is individual, really.

I believe in Jesus and I also believe that you will not go to hell for being a "good witch" if by doing so you mean you will be a person who sacrifices for the good of others and loves unconditionally. Many Christians and other organized religions would disagree, they all feel unless you "subscribe" to them you will go to hell. I think that's stupid. So be good Sis and much love.

Nah, you won't go to hell for being Wiccan. Wiccans don't believe in hell. How can we go to a place we don't think exists??? Of course if there IS someplace we all will be going because we're witches that means it'll be a good place. Whether it's known as hell to other religions or not.

The Creator revealed herself to all living creatures through nature...the Great Mystery.

According to the Bible God was only revealed to a few people living in a certain time period in the middle east.

Work for the forces of good and don't worry about the narrow minded few.
