It can mean that a coil is not coiled anymore.

Sprung is past participle of spring.
Spring means to move rapidly upward or forward in a single movement or in a series of rapid movements

I suppose you could mean 'ham strung' which means you have pulled a muscle at the top of your leg and find it very difficult to walk...................(known as a ham string injury)..........
