If you have ever asked or been asked to marry someone how did it happen, was it a weird one, romantic, cheesey, or so pathetic that it was sweet? I've been asked twice the first was just pathetic. the other I cant tell. At bout 4 am I get a text will you marry me and before I can say anything he was calling to ask. He was working out of state and it was christmas.what so you think?

I think that some people are more likely to believe in G-d and religion than others, due to upbringing, genes and their minds. If this is true (which I believe it to be - surely a logical atheist in a community and family of logical atheists is unlikely to believe in G-d) then how can G-d allow this? It is not fair, put simply.
Or if you believe Jesus is the only way to salvation - what about people in strict Muslim countries? They will have heard of Christianity, perhaps, but following it would be a huge sacrifice to themselves and their community.
Why would God give some people more of a chance to believe than he does others?

I am married since last year and want to have a kid now but my hubby wants after one more year.But I am not happy with this and I have pressure from my family and friends too to have a kid soon.what do I answer them and how do I convince my hubby to agree with me.Is it right if I dont agree to him and be stubborn on my point or should I agree to what he says.I want that both of us should have the same opinion and not a one sided decision and also that our relation remains the same.can someone please help me and give me good suggestions.

Ok guys I found out i was pregnant October 25th I went for my ultrasound on November 22 and the ultrasound showed me to be 10wks 6days or 11 wks exactly! i had a steroid jab for hives (skin allergy) 1 month and 1 week ago. i suppose it is a Glucocorticoid jab. i researched on the internet and found out that it may cause irregularity of menstrual periods. i have missed my period for about one week and i am wondering if it is because of the steroids, and if so about how long will i know that i am back to normal. thanks (:

Christians, as you know there is a lot of atheists in the world today who do not want to know Jesus. That is sad considering that he died for their horrible sins. How do you handle it. Sometimes when the Holy spirit is taking over I talk to people about Jesus and our Father in Heaven, about how I became a Christian, and I tell them that before I became a Christian I had nothing in life that was satisfying. As there is an awful lot of rape, murder, backstabing, pornograpy, unbelievers, wars people who do not care about anybody but thenselfs etc. I tell them that there is something else out there other than this corrupt life, because this world will always let them down. Other times I could not be bothered talking to them about God because I do not always feel like it. I have noticed all of the unbelievers I have come accross are searching for something, and I feel that is a good start. I too used to think like the world, thinking this world is all we have, as I know the truth now
