Christians, as you know there is a lot of atheists in the world today who do not want to know Jesus. That is sad considering that he died for their horrible sins. How do you handle it. Sometimes when the Holy spirit is taking over I talk to people about Jesus and our Father in Heaven, about how I became a Christian, and I tell them that before I became a Christian I had nothing in life that was satisfying. As there is an awful lot of rape, murder, backstabing, pornograpy, unbelievers, wars people who do not care about anybody but thenselfs etc. I tell them that there is something else out there other than this corrupt life, because this world will always let them down. Other times I could not be bothered talking to them about God because I do not always feel like it. I have noticed all of the unbelievers I have come accross are searching for something, and I feel that is a good start. I too used to think like the world, thinking this world is all we have, as I know the truth now

That's sort of a silly belief or as someone else said dellusional. If you actually bothered to read a book besides the bible and christian magazines, you might learn a little bit about history. Evidence of these sorts of things exists throughout human history. The Greeks and the Romans had pornography. Rape was a normal part of war long before either of us or our great grandparents were born. Backstabbing? heh, ever hear of Judas? And homosexuality was and still is believed as the natural way of life.
So, no, I don't think that the world is getting more and more evil. I do think that it's easy to pretend it is. This belief makes you feel better. There are certain groups of christians that have been around since at least 1000 AD that prefer to believe that right now is the end time. Why? You hate this world. You get hope from thinking of it's destruction. Also, after reading a few of your questions and comments, I believe you are the type of person who finds joy in thinking about the person sitting next you you burning in hell fire while you're up in heaven laughing your butt off. This sort of attitude should be warned against.

There is more evil I think, yes. Alot of it has to do with the idea that people have little or no hope for anything else after this life. You don't have to be Christian, but if you are Muslim or Jewish, Buddist, Hindu, etc. etc.....you will at least have a hope for something more after this life. So in result alot of people are living more for the moment these days instead of thinking about why they're here and the good they can do down here on earth.

Non-christian here.... (Buddhist who believes in God)
I don't think it's fair to assume that you have all the answers because your spirituality has made you happier.
You could still be missing some things. It's nice that you want to show people "the way" but sometimes it's good to be the student too.
I also think that War and Pornography are two totally different things... I didn't lose any good friends to porn. Porn has never blown an innocent childs legs off. I don't know of any "suicide pornographers" that shouldn't be boarding flights to Manhattan.
True - some people can become addicted to sex and pornography and that is unhealthy but it is a better outlet than violence.

The word Christian means you are the follower of Christ. You try to live like he does, have same values like he has, develop same qualities like he has, to have similar personality he has. It means you have to know Bible well, because Bible describes how Jesus lived on the Earth while he was a human being. That means to be a Christian. How well one or another person manage to follow Jesus example is not to be judged by us. We can guess, but we can't judge. God is the judge and he will judge all Christians sooner or later. Just like he does with all the people who don't follow his Son. We don't need to worry about others, each of us will render an account for himself to God.

Not only do I think that but the Word of God says that it is. The Bible speaks of the day when men will wax worse and worse, or the day when men will not endure sound doctrine, etc. God also says that it is with love and kindness have He drawn them. So it is our job as believers to continue to show compassion and love to them. We are the only voice that some will get to hear about the love and Christ and all He has done for us. If we portray the love of God, then others will maybe want to be like us as well. May God Bless

Yes, I've also noticed this as well. Not so long ago, people were more open to the Gospel of salvation. Nowadays, it seems like people are just coming up with their own doctrine of beliefs. No longer do people want to hear that Jesus shed His blood on the Roman cross so that they don't have to be punished for thier sins. It's sad because they think we wrote the rules and they hate us for it. All we're doing is sharing with them God's simple but only plan to escape hell. He wrote it, not us.
Well, anyway, it seems that there may be some hope online. There's safety on the Internet. See, someone right now could be reading our postings in the privacy of their bedroom. Who knows? Maybe one of them might read our words, "ask Jesus to be your Lord and to forgive you of your sins" and then at that moment do so. At that moment he or she would be instantly a citizen of Heaven.
So you see, if they won't listen to your words, they might just read them. And if nobody is around to intimidate them, they may just receive them. So don't give up witnessing. Maybe just change your strategy.
Another thing to do would be to get some of those comic book tracts and leave them out in public places, in restrooms, in airports, etc. etc. You can put your phone number on them if you wish to. I think you can get those tracts at www. chick . com
Keep up the faith!

I understand what you mean. Before the Katobole, there was an attempted overthrow by Satan. He wanted to sit in the seat of God and proclaim himself God. That did not go well with God. Satan was judged to die. Satan along with his angels were able to persuade over 4 billion souls to follow him.
It is this writer opinion that those that aligned themselves with Satan are here now walking the Earth.
The Elect of God are also here doing the same. Plus there are the other 1/3 also here that did nothing but sit back and watch for the outcome. They are here as well.
All this is spoken of in the Word of God. This generation is an evil and perverse generation for sure.><>

I agree with fact that it is apethetic. Its not like your Christians have done anything to help lately either. Most of the problems are created by them in the past. Then members of the clergy get caught doing things they say ares sins. Laughing all the way to the bank. Stop preaching and start practicing what you preach!!!

Of course when an atheist hear someone talking like this they automatically know they are probably lying about having been an atheist themselves because it is obvious you have no idea what it feels like to be an atheist. Either that or you have conveniently allowed yourself to forget. Sigh, you know what’s interesting? It isn’t the atheist who have started countless wars, as well as killed and tortured millions in the name of god.
Evil is as evil does ;)
