The problem is I am not sure if that is correct because I thought I had a period on Sept 6th! IT SEEMS LIKE THAT WOULD ONLY PUT ME @ 5 OR 6wks! Someone please help me.... It's correct, don't worry time out for worrying time in for focusing on what you need for the baby, and what kind of mommy you wish to be, save the worrying for High School. God Bless congratulations and good luck!

the docs start counting from the first day of ur last period, so ur about 11 weeks pregnant.

u probably on fell pregnant about 2 weeks after ur period as that's most likely when u were ovulating. so 11 weeks pregnant means about 9 weeks since conception.

from where do u get a low number like 5 or 6 weeks? im assuming u took a preg test in oct bcos u missed ur period at the beginning of the oct?

Actually that is right, you start counting from the day you start you last period, I just checked a calender and you should be 12 weeks today if you started your period on sept 6th. Hope this helps. Good luck and Congrats!

I would go by what the ultra sound says. They are usually pretty right. Some women still bleed or have periods during their pregnancy. Though it is kind of rare. I had a friend who had a "period" the whole pregnancy. Just keep an eye out. If you have another notify your doctor. But I would go by the ultra sound, in my experience they had been pretty accurate.

properly in accordance to my very last era i should be 12 weeks yet in accordance to the ultrasound i'm in straight forward words 8 weeks so it does ensue. from time to time you purely ovulate later than known. i had an ultrasound finished on november 10th which made me 6 weeks 3 days and the baby had a heartbeat of 122beats in protecting with minute.

No this is correct.
Pregnancy counts from the first day of last period LMP
last menstural period. and ovulation occur on the 14th day of period, so pregnancy occurs on 14 day only but this is the universal method to count the pregnancy.
It starts from the first day of last period.

Don't worry

You always calculate your pregnancy from the date of your last period, not from date of conception. So the calculation is accurate. Congratulations!
