I've been going out with a guy for 4 months, I met him at a party where my mother was also a guest so she met him too. She continually asks me about him, expects me to take him round to to see her, bought him a present & wrote him note in a card & insisted I give them to him, despite me saying I didn't think it was appropriate. On the occasion I did take him round she completely dominated the conversation, made some jokes at my expense, leaving me feeling uncomfortable as it is still a new relationship. Last week she made cakes &, again, insisted I take some to him, despite me saying repeatedly I didn't want to! It feels like she is trying too hard to get him to like HER (she has already made up her mind she wants him as a son-in-law but I haven't decided yet what I want!) and, significantly for me, he hasn't told his parents he is seeing anyone yet! Silly or sensible opinions appreciated, anything to help me get some perspective, it's driving me nuts!

What feels worse?....feeling pain or feeling nothing, just absolute numbness?

Would you prefer to reach all of the goals you had set out to in life but be alone or would you rather not do all the things you had once hoped to and not be alone? If you pick the latter,...do you think that you would somehow always feel sort of incomplete?

Would you rather use your talent and what you love to do to become successful, or would you take any job that you were somehow good at even though its not what you had hoped to do initially? If you pick the latter.....would you say that (even though you do get a good income) that you would feel incomplete? Or does it not matter at all (i.e. Work doesnt have to be fun?)?

I'm 18 years old and I work out fairly regularly, but I don't get enough fruits or other healthy things into my body daily. I also have trouble swallowing large pills, and I'm taking zoloft incase that affects anything. Any Suggestions for a multivitamin??

but why do some blacks refer to each other as ******* and the use it in a way not to offend each other? the history of the word is not good as we all know but it is now used for a term of inderment or insult depending on who you are? can a white person ever use the word without causing offence?

i was in love with one of my collegue prior to my marriage...

I have loads of pink spots on my arms from my elbow up. I have tried scrubbing myself there with a body brush in the shower but that just made it worse. Does anyone know any creams or something to get rid of them??????????

guys, if a girl has been a c*** tease and wont let you do "stuff" with her and she wont "do stuff with you", would you think that shes not really that interested in you?
