What feels worse?....feeling pain or feeling nothing, just absolute numbness?

Would you prefer to reach all of the goals you had set out to in life but be alone or would you rather not do all the things you had once hoped to and not be alone? If you pick the latter,...do you think that you would somehow always feel sort of incomplete?

Would you rather use your talent and what you love to do to become successful, or would you take any job that you were somehow good at even though its not what you had hoped to do initially? If you pick the latter.....would you say that (even though you do get a good income) that you would feel incomplete? Or does it not matter at all (i.e. Work doesnt have to be fun?)?

I can't understand people who say "feeling nothing is so horrible" because if you feel nothing, then how can you feel any way about feeling nothing???

It doesn't make sense. So if you DO feel horrible about feeling nothing then you really DO feel something, right? So the whole comment cancels itself out and is therefore irrelevant.

No need to worry about feeling nothing cause you do feel SOMETHING which caused you to worry, right?

I'd rather feel nothing at all. Nothing= no worries, stress, heartache... yah, definately nothing.

You don't miss anything if you feel nothing. Feeling too much, feeling everything can drive a person bonkers which is never fun.

Feeling pain is worse. Esp emotional pain. Sometimes my heart feels sooo heavy, and from being a preppy gal, I sudden become numb and just feel nothing. Thats horrible too.

feeling pain is always better than feeling nothing, feeling pain is a good way of telling yourself your still alive inside, and not some robot.
