I was watching the movie "Puff Puff Pass" and all they did was talk about that movie and the question of whether Andy was raped in prison or not. The thought was that made the moral of the movie completely different. "Are you going to get busy living or get busy dying?" Would this question have even arisen otherwise? It assumes great tragedy in your past. Personally I know they are one and the same thing. The moment you are born is the moment you begin dying. So you are living and dying all your life. That is the point of Peter Pan as well. You can choose to live in never never land or choose to embrace your death and in doing so embrace your life as well. i believe Andy did that and that is why e saw the possibilities to get out of the prison that contained him. his life is a dramatic metaphor for life in general.

heh, sometimes I feel like Red and I see my friends leave, and I realize they've gone onto better things, but I still miss em. I suppose I should get busy living since I'm almost out. I am in the military by the way.

I'd rather stay busy living. I prefer to remain above ground for the time being. Ask me again in 40 years or so.
