My boyfriend is turning 18 in a couple days, and the government is hoping to do a draft next year, and if he does get drafted, I wonder if maybe it'd be better to go to jail for a little bit or go off to war?

My daughter lied to me about where she was Saturday night. I found out yesterday that she was out til 2 in the morning with a 28 year old man. She is 18. I do not care you she dates on the outside for her to see but on the inside a man with 3 children has no business with a 18 year old. I told her all i asked ofr her was that if she was out pass 12:00 to call and let me know who she is with and where she is. Today my mother came to see me at work and informed me that she knew where she was. I got so angry that i had been lied to again and on top of that it was my 64 year old mother. The more i talked the louder i got and the madder i got and i walked away because i Love her and i was afraid i would say something that would hurt her feelings. I have never done it but i am so mad that she did this. I sat at my house saturday night worried to death about where my daughter was. these days you never know what could happen. I worry about her coming in that time of morning anyway.

I have a cousin who's 14 years old. I really care about him. He's never had a friend. He's naive but very intelligent (like smarter than instructors). He's taking Calculus in freshman year of high school. He's very mature. Unfortunately, he sees everyone inferior to him. I've tried asking him why he doesn't try to make friends but he usually responds with something similar to, "Why should I make friends with such inferior people?" or something of the sort. I can't tell whether he really needs friends or if he really feels that way. What should I do to make his life better?

there has been a brash a polic shootouts and fatalities of supposed suspects which resulted in over ten fatalities, this year alone in the dekalb county area. today,nov 21, 2006, another shootout occured in the atlanta/fulton county area which invovled three officers and ninety-two year old woman. the officers were undercover narcotics agents and kicked the door of the woman's home, naturally she panicks shooting the three but not critically, she was then shot and killed. is atlanta becoming the new L.A.?

As I've started paying attention to the world outside of my country. I've become dissatisfied with my goverment and search for a nation or society that I would find agreeable.
I wonder if there are any societies that have some qualities such as these:
1)Companies don't advertise the hell out of things/non materialistis society.
2)Big corporations don't influence politics.
3)Society isn't wasteful like the US. (food is distributed equally. there is simply what the people need.)
4)They don't exploit other nations economically. (No chinese sweatshops)
5)Govement policies aims to benefit citizens over other nations. (Making sure everyone in their country has basic needs met before sending money to other nations)
6)Individual freedom. (Similar to the US, only better. More or less a society where everyone leaves each other alone)

Language would not be much of an issue, I am young and willing to learn another language
