I've tried tutoring kids online before, and it's gone badly.

Not because of me-- I put hours of work into it, but the kids I tutor eventually show me their pictures and ask if they're hot, or find out I'm Jewish and tell me that they hope Hitler burns me.

Is there anyone out there who will NOT do these things, and really wants to LEARN?

I'd love to tutor in Math, Science, English, or Spanish. I'm in the 10th grade, so I can teach anyone at that level or below. I got As last year and I have been this year so far too, and I take four honors classes in a competitive school...

I think someone i love is clinically depressed but when i have tried to approach him about it in the past he gets very defensive. He has told me before he is depressed but i am afraid to bring it up or ask questions. He thinks only crazy people see psychologists, even though he knows i have seen one before. How can i get him to talk about it without him thinking i am attacking him or calling him a crazy person?

I wish he had not let me know. Now I feel that I am in a no-win situation. If I tell on him, I lose him as a friend. Let me start by saying I have naturally black hair. I had it lightened at the salon over the summer, but I got tired of it, so I just dyed my hair back to black. It worked out fine, but now I want to lighten my hair up a tad again...just to a lighter brunette shade, but when I bought the Loreal "Les True Brunettes" lightener, it didn't do a thing! How can I lighten my dyed black hair a lighter brunette color? Again, my natural hair color is black...(I read other people's questions like this, but it seemed they were all blondes trying to get back to their lighter color...) So quick recap: I was originally black haired, then lightened to caramel (professionally), now dyed back to my original black, now I want it lightened to a lighter brunette.

We are doing the weight training unit in phy ed class at my high school. Every time i sit down or touch something I feel so disgusted. The weights and machines are never cleaned....so that means thousands of dirty, wet, sweaty, smelly hands have touched everything in the room. They don't even tell us to wash our hands afterward. I'm not usually a germ freak.....but does anyone else agree its a little unsanitary?
