the fridge compressor kicking in and keeping the beer cold..so thats ok....and silence. nope that didnt last long...there goes another one..i live uner the flight path of an international airport...

and the trade of is 28 acres of woodland and open space, fields meadows and woods..right on the edge of a concrete disaster zone. we hear mutjak deer calling, foxes barking, owls hooting...and atriculated lorries 3 miles away..but its winter here, so teh windows are closed..and everything is quietish... oh and the kids are asleep...and in this tranquility, i write.

My husband snoring (very gently, awww...)

Cars going past in the street outside.

And the neighbours arguing. I swear I just heard her yell "if you throw the f***ing dog at me again I'll iron all your bl**dy clothes!". I must have misheard. I hope I did!

The tv with Two and a half Men on. My kids are playing lego on the floor beside me. My boyfriend chit chatting to me. Me typing. Normal. I like it.
