my little girl bought a pc game and we can't get it to work.her systems meets all the requierments for the game,it installs with no problem.when she clicks on the icon to play the game it pops a error message up saying something about a runtime error.can someone help me with this?I would greatly appreciate it .

I am using Linux. In display properties it is not showing me 1000* something option. currently it is 800*something.
How should I increase the viewing region of my monitor. currenetly I am viewing only half part of websites in browser.

I have an old IBM thinkpad and it doesn't have an operating system. I was thinking of installing one but my laptop only has a floppy disk drive and not a cdrom. So my question is how would I go about installing an operating system on a laptop with no cdrom drive?

I am an empty nester, alone these days. I recently found a friend, of the opposite sex, and opposite "flavor", but we both hit it off. We talked at least 3 times a week on IM for 2 to 5 hours a time, for 2 1/2 years. Recently I did something really nice for this person, and due to another person butting in, I got upset. All of a sudden it was my fault, and we have done nothing but send nasty emails to each other. It's been 6 weeks now, and altho it's said we will get on line and talk, now I don't beleive it. I feel used by this person, and still can't talk about it without tears. Am I the idiot? Did I go too far? I feel so used by this person, and now see them writing on the board where we met, like nothing is wrong. I am still hurting, and actually thought I had a true friend. Why does it hurt so bad, when will it stop, and will we ever get back together? And if we do, do I want to.....this is why I don't date....it hurts too much. I feel like I will be alone forever.

I hear so many different 'stories' about getting immunized...flu shots, polio, etc.....Either there are strong avocates of getting your child immunized OR there are other individuals that are strongly apposed to it.
My 4 year old son just received the flu shot this evening...I feel like I did the wrong thing.....Something in my gut told me like the shot was only going to cause more problems than good (if that makes sense).
Are there any other parents or individauls that haven't given their child/children all their shots.? I have a 3 month old....I am thinking about not vaccinating her because of all the things I heard. (although she has had her 2 month set of shots I don't feel like I want to continue them).....I guess I would like to know about your opinion and your personal experiences on this issue....

Ok, I haven't read any of the books so I was wondering... in the Lord of the Rings - The Fellowship of the Ring movie (Peter Jackson version) what happens to Gandalf after he fights the Balrog in the cave/or mines of Moria. I know he briefly talks about it in The Two Towers but I don't really understand what happened according to the book. Did he die and then reincarnate as the white wizard? i am 34 weeks pregnant. before i was pregnant i could eat anything and not gain anything, but now it seems if i eat anything it turns into 20 lbs. !!! i dont know where i'm gaining all this weight from, i dont eat a whole lot more than i used to and i'm not that big for 8 months pregnant, so it cant be all baby weight. i understand i'm supposed to gain weight, but i was average weight when i got pregnant, and i'm pushing 40 lbs. of gained weight. last week i gained 7 lbs. in 2 weeks, thats crazy. i just want to know where my metabolism is, and if i'll ever see it again.
