Honey, you don't need that. Seriously. Anybody who truly loves you would not hurt you. You sound like a very hurt, intelligent, bright, smart girl. If someone is hurting you, you need to not deal with that. Explain to him the problem, then leave. If a year's worth of work didn't help, I think it's time.

Good luck. Remember what I said: Anybody who truly loves you would not hurt you.

Let him go when you are ready. When? You will know yourself best when. Everyone has limit. There will be a day that you think you've had enough, believe me. Time will heal you. Don't forget to take care of your own heart. Life is too short to live miserably.

Good Luck.

The only way you CAN get over him is if YOU allow yourself to. IF you are as tired of it as you say you are then END it. No one can hurt you unless YOU let them. When it's over start focusing on other aspects of your life. Your schooling, your career, your family, don't dwell on the "wish it woulds".

Man you sound exactly like me...I ended it 5 weeks ago after 4 years and have started the long and very painful and difficult road to recovery. I am codependent...guessing you are too...look it up.

THE ONLY WAY IS BY DOING IT. BREAK UP WITH HIM. HE DOESNT LOVE YOU OR HE WOULDNT BE HURTING YOU. PLUS IF HES HURTING YOU SO MUCH THEN RIP HIS HEART OUT WITH A RUSTED KNIFE AND THE STOMP ON IT AFTER IT HITS THE FLOOR. DONT BE AFRAID TO HURT HIM
