Hi there, I am now 18, but i did fall in love when i was 15. At first i didnt know, but as we got to know eachother we definately were in love. He was 17 and i was 15 when we first met. And ever since, we knew that we would be together forever. When i was 16, we got engaged. And now i am out of school, he is working a successful job, we have an apartment together, and I am currently planning our wedding in may! We just have what a lot of people do not. We found true love at first sight, even though many say it is not true, those people that say it isnt true, are the ones that have not yet experienced it. If someone tells me that i dont know what true love is, i just shake my head and think to myself that only me and my fience know how we feel about the relationship and no one is coming between that. now, everyone in both families are very supportive and cannot wait until the wedding! I know im excited! I hope i could help you out with the situation. If you need any further guidance, please feel free to email me or talk on yahoo IM @ total_chef -Ashlee

Sure you can be in love...BUT...that does not mean you are ready to have sex...which many teens feel that *love* justifies going to that next step..and that next step can result in a life long situation. At 15, you are learning about relationships, and they are very real, but what may seem perfect for you at 15 will most likely be very wrong at 16...18...20....as you are still maturing. I have known many high school couples, that everyone thought would be married one day...and guess what...they grew away form each other....even the ones that did get married ended up in miserable marriages, or divorced. You are young...enjoy your youth and freedom...HAVE FUN! there is plenty of time to be adults in your futures.

I know there is nothing worse than some1 saying ur not in love ur to young to know what love is. You may know the begining feelings of love or infatuation. I believe you can think ur in love. There really isn't a way to tell I guess until time goes by and see if ur feelings stay as strong. But u don't have much experience yet. I remember the summer I was going to start 7th grade and I thought I loved this boy I was going with. My parents didn't like him and said u will meet alot of other boys in Jr.High. I was furious!! I said there was no1 else! I loved him! welllllll..... later I found out that it wasn't love (like I thought) and my parents were right. (don't ya hate when that happens?- ha!ha!)

Yes, but at each stage of your life, like 15, 18, 21 etc. you will experience a different kind of love. As you get older and more mature you look at people differently. If you DO fall in love now and it doesn't work out, just remember that's why they call them "crushes". And even if you think there'll NEVER be anyone else like that person...there will be, I promise. Trust me, I'm a grandma now but STILL remember MY 1st love and heartbreak, but life really does go on...

POSSIBLY - but...
Often, what determines true, real love, is usually determined after it ends.
For example, most people will say 'my ex was the love of my life' or 'I never realized I loved him until he was gone'.
You almost have to see yourself with that person from a third person point of view and to have also had other relationships to compare it.
Could you be in love? Yes. But the degree will vary based on age, experience, and your ability to see it objectively.
