Spent the last few day's noticing how much plastic I have in my house: bathroom cupboards, kitchen cupboards, children's toys, council bins ....list goes on! If this material is difficult to dispose of why are we using it? Is there an alternative material?

I am 21 years old, am 6ft tall and weigh 10 stone (if I'm lucky!). This is underweight for my age and physically, I look thin. I have tried weight-gaining drinks and general pigging-out(!) and for some reason I cannot gain weight. I know the common myth is that sweets make you fat, but I spend about £1 on sweets per day (that, by the way, is a lot of sweets for one person to eat in a single day!) and have done so nearly every day for years, but nothing works. Can anyone shed some light on how I can gain weight quickly and safely? I wish to gain at least 1 stone.

Guys if an ex-girlfriend whom you hadn't heard of in awhile contacted you by msn, how woud you feel? My situation is that I dated my ex-boyfriend for one month, it was ony kissing, (cuz he knew I'm saving sex for marriage), and HE was the one to end it. But after he ended he would always say hi to me on msn, but that has become less frequent. Then since September he has said hi to me twice on msn. So cuz of that, I decided yesterday that I should put my ego and pride aside and say hi to him even though he dumped me and broke my heart. I just wanted to see how he was doing and I only asked him questions about school. He was responsive and he asked me questions too. Was it wrong of me to say hi? Was it desperate of me? Should I just delete and block him from my msn and try to get over him, even though he contacts me very rarely but still does? I know no one is a mind reader but what could he be thinking now about yesterday? I'm sure he was surprised but whatdoya think?

I have to do a 2-3 page report on a scientest(preferably biologist) that isn't a white male European. It can be a black male European or a white female European or any combination of anything except for white male European.. Also I can't do George Washington Carver because too many people do him every year, so we aren't aloud to report on him any more. My teacher would rather it be a female. Oh, and not inventors, strictly scientists.

My job is a customer service rep which i type and sit most of the day and am on the phone, but only doing this parttime( 24 hours per week) as i am a college student. I have had pain in my left wrist, but no numbness or tingling just constant pain in wrist. It is aggravated by typing. Any treatments i should try as i have tried ice and heat. I think it may be tendonitis, but it hurts all the time asnd hurts worse when lifting,typing etc. Please advise for treatment options. Thank you very much.....................
