I quit smoking at the end of last year and I'm really proud of myself as it took a few attempts to finally quit for good. However, I get really annoyed when people smoke around me, especially when I'm walking down the street and someone in front of me is smoking and the wind blows all their smoke in my face. It makes me feel like I quit for nothing. If they want to give themselves cancer that's their prerogative but I want to live a healthy life thank you very much. I chose to try and not get cancer so why should I have to breathe in other peoples' dirty smoke? Thank goodness for the smoking ban in public places! Other opinions please........

We have two kittens named 'Isis' and 'Lulu'.

My BF and I named one each. He chose Isis as she looks similar to an Egyptian cat, and she oozes strength and power. I named Lulu, because she is tortoise shell and for some odd reason reminded me of Lulu from the 'Bananas in Pyjamas'. I can imagine a red bow behind her ear :-)

Their names ABSOLUTELY suit them.

this man walks into this bar that hes been going to for a while and this same girl is always his bartender and he always orders 6 shots after a little while the bartender asks him why he orders 6 shots he replies:1 is for me and the other ones are for my brothers (so you all know he drinks the shots) and one day he comes in and he only orders 5 shot so the bartender says :i'm so sorry for you're loss and he says:what do you mean and she says:you're only ordering 5 shots so assume one of you're brothers died and he says::ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh noooooooooooooo i quit drinking

When I shouted his name he gave no response. We gave him tea. I phoned up my doc. and he asked us to give suger and juice. This was all four hours ago. Now he is sleeping and the doc. told us to let him sleep for couple of hours. Doc. has also told us not to scold him when he comes to senses. How should the patients who get high in such a way be treated?

moved from glasgow to essex 2 years ago with mini brats... spend 90% of my time with them, seem to spend rest of time either sleeping cleaning or on this...
have went on a couple of dates but what is it with males that think a single mum is easy??
anyone any ideas on how to meet him?? sarcstic male replies we are deffently not interested in!!!
could it be true that i do have an attitude problem???

My 3yr old son all of the sudden is afraid to sleep in his bedroom. It started about 4 days ago. He all of the sudden started screaming before we put him to bed saying there are scary things in his room. He even wanted his crib back! My wife and I brought him in and told him there was nothing to be afraid of. We asked what he was scared of and he wouldnt get specific. He has a nightlight in his room. I ended up getting his mobile back out to play while he was in bed...then...I went and bought a liitle light up "sword" (nothing sharp about 12 inches long with a battery that he can use as a little flashlight) and told him that was mine when I was a boy and it was my fathers that we both had to protect us at night. If he ever felt scard he just turns it on and can shine it around to see that there is nothing there. He still whines about bedtime and wants the blanket to be pulled over his head.

Is there any advise so I can get rid of the mobile...again and the light?
