We have two kittens named 'Isis' and 'Lulu'.

My BF and I named one each. He chose Isis as she looks similar to an Egyptian cat, and she oozes strength and power. I named Lulu, because she is tortoise shell and for some odd reason reminded me of Lulu from the 'Bananas in Pyjamas'. I can imagine a red bow behind her ear :-)

Their names ABSOLUTELY suit them.

We have had many cats over the years but my favourite was called TC after Top Cat, he was such an affectionate lap cat, he could stand any amount of stroking and never used to show his claws.

He certainly wasn't a scaredy cat either - he would stand up for himself if the need arose.

I was devastated when eventually his kidney's picked in and he had to be put down - on my birthday.

Sylvester - because he looked like the cartoon cat.

Iggy - was six months old when I adopted him, but the size of a three month old; had a distended belly and a hole in one ear; is polydactyl on all four paws, so his feet were HUGE; had short legs and big round green eyes. He needed a silly name and I thought Iggy fit the bill.

Ethan - was named E.T. when he came into the shelter and there was no way I was keeping that. Ethan was a similar name (he was older when I got him); I also like the name and had a big crush on Ethan Hawke at the time.

Then I have Hershey, no never any candy, but a deceased mate was Chocolate and there's Sandy, husband named her, she's sandy blond and my sweet lil neck nuzzler, Gabriel after the Arch Angel Gabriel, he had the fight of his life when he was born and had a perfect feather design in white on his forehead

I have a grey tabby named KiKi. It came about it two ways:

We got the cat six years ago and we NEVER named it. Well, we were watching CKY2K and Chris Raab was doing that "key key want some sloozberry stoover? Key key wanna hunka pom pom meat" (he was acting like he was mentally challanged).... crude, I know, but we were laughing so hard, so we started calling the cat Key, short for the Key key and called her slooz on occasion as well. Well, we had our daughter and still didn't have "key" established as the name for the cat. When our daughter started talking and holding conversations (when she was about 18-20 months, more than four years after we got the cat), she always called the cat kiki or kikat. So, we asked her if the kitty cat's name was KiKi, and she said yes. So, it was official! KiKi is out kikats name!

I have an orange tabby with stripes of white and lighter orange, his name is Donny. He is named after Donny from Big Lebowski because he was the runt and everyone pushed him around. It suited him then but now he's bad@ss and just doesn't give a damn. He's got an attitude but it works for him.

My girlfriend just got a kitten which is black, grey, and white striped so she named him pepper. It suits him because he is cool in small doses but too much and your ready to throw him in the garbage. I like him though. Peace!

I have three cats. The oldest is named Malachi...got his name from Save the Last Dance. I heard the name and fell in love with it so yeah. The middle cat is named Dawson...my little cousin named him...don't know why he chose Dawson but it works. And the baby of the cat family is Emma. When my husband and I were engaged we got her together...she is a peach tabby so I wanted Buttercup but it didn't fit her. I don't remember how Emma came up but it fit her so it stayed.

My kitty is Cheeto.
He's orange and my third orange tabby. The first was Tigger, the second was Morris. I had to come up with something original for this one. So as I was munching on a bag of Cheetos and feeding him some (which he was wolfing down) I looked at the bag and then him and it came to me.

I love unique cat names.

I have a 4 year old female named Stormy and a 2 year old male named Smokey. They both got their names cuz of their colors and markings. I also have a 6 month old puppy named Butterscotch.
