Would you take a job without knowing your salary first? Wouldn't you consult with your wife first?

I'm not sure I understand your question...

How much you can get from military life? As in salary or something else?

Military pay is NOT that great unless you attain the higher ranks. As to someone asking what ANY type of job offers in the way of benefits - I don't think that's unpatriotic at all.

If the soldier's family at home isn't taken care of then he'll be worried about them in combat and that is NOT a good thing.

If you meant to ask / infer something else by your comments then I apologize for my mistake.

Just like any other job, you consider all the benefits you would receive, as well as the salary.

People in the military do not make a lot of money unless they have attained a higher rank.

For them, if the benefits don't outnumber all the hours away from their family and the dangers they find themselves in, then they might consider not joining or re-enlisting.

It is really like any other job.

In reading some of your question/answers, I find you to be very hateful towards Americans, with your little slurs, and negative comments, so how about you just back off..

The answer I believe you are looking for is, you would hope that a person would join the Military for the sole purpose of what its meant to be, and that is to protect, defend, serve our Country, and not just for $$$......

I think it's just people looking for a question to ask. We all know people don't go into the military because of the great pay and lavish living conditions.

Since both of our countries are fighting this war side by side, its a little unpatriotic to want to stir up discontent between the countries? Not good at a time of war and I thought you guys were our allies.

At least we have interest in learning rather than entering the military without any external knowledge. Dumbass.

Even patriots have to eat. You know, so they can cover your rear end.
