I know it sounds weird but I need real teeth for a science fair project. Anyone know where I could get some real teeth or animal teeth to use for the project? Would a dentist have some to spare?

Dentists have to dispose of human materials. They can't give them to you or even sell them to you.
Just go ask a farmer.

Tigers are indangered species, and it is illegal to kill a tiger and buying and selling tiger is against the law. Only in instances where someone can get a special license can they have one and in that instance it is for conservation of the species. The reason you DO NOT want to buy a fur is because if you buy one, you are creating a market for it. The poacher will go out and kill another one to supply your materialistic selfish desires. People would not kill the animal if someone else did not want the merchandise. I am not trying to be an animal rights person slagging you off, but it sounds to me like you do not realize what the impact you are having by purchasing one. Also, if it were to be used as a rug, it wouldnt be big ans soft for long. No, not buying the fur will not bring the tiger back. I agree. However, not buying the fur will save another tigers life. It does mattter if you own its skin. I am not trying to be mean, I am trying to help you understand. By saying, "redecorating my room", I am guessing you are young and probably spoiled "I don't do fakes", but there is a reason that you could be upsetting someone with this question. Remember that if you didn't want the tigers skin, the poacher wouldn't care if it got the skin either.

If you live in Australia you can obtain extracted teeth from a dentist. We do save teeth for trainee dentists to work on so I am sure you would be able to pick up some if you ask. Take your science project with you so they can look at it if necessary. Also take a container.

Believe it or not, dentists and oral surgeons have a jar full of extracted teeth. We have to keep them and then send them off to a medical waste facility for proper disposal. Just ask your dentist if you can have some. Don't tell anyone where you got them, though, because you are not a licensed medical waste hauler. (haha - but true)

Go to a slaughterhouse and see if they have any teeth left over from their latest kills. I know they have to check the teeth for age, but I don't know what they do with them, after that.
