i've heard this several times so i want to know if it is true or not....
i'm from argentina and here the clubs close at 7am and as i am planning a trip to your country i wanted to know what cities have the best nightlife in the us; and generally speaking what are the costumes and dress codes .... thanks!

Yes! But it really depends in what part of the United States you are in! Some close at two some close at three and others close as early as one.
However, places on the East Coast do stay open for most of the day and night. Closing only long enough to clean and start over!
The most common time is 2:00 am

In most places the BAR closes at 2:00 AM. That is the latest they can sell alcohol. So many places close then for that reason. But in most big cities there are places that stay open too.

Don't go to Atlanta because they just changed the laws here. Most places have to be closed by 2am. You would probably want to go to NYC or some place like that for a good night life.
