Please, give answers, not comments, like 'i'm a stay at home mom and my kids aren't out of control, you dont know what ur talking about.' Just save it. These children are disrespectful and hit their mothers. I'm not say ing all of them, but a lot.

well Im a stay at home mom, with a man that works to take care of us... when they get out of line with me and ... they all try 10,6,and 3. He steps in and puts his foot down, but never ever would my children try to strike me or him... I live in a black household ... no offense.. must be white children ,, cause if they were black ,, they would probably get the beat down

Kids need routine and discipline. If the parents are working and the children are in daycare with trained providers, there is almost always a routine, rules to follow, and consequences. Not all stay at home moms have the training or the energy to establish the routine, discipline and consequences that are needed for kids to grow up well behaved. And I'm not talking about little robots, just kids who know the difference between right and wrong, and how to treat people respectfully.
Kids need structure and limits to feel safe, and if they don't know where the limits are, they will be wild or "out of control" until they find the limit.
I've been a paid working mom and an unpaid working stay at home mom, so I've seen this from both viewpoints. Being the stay at home mom (one adult instead of several at a child care center) is a lot of work.

it's all in the style of parenting. i know parents who are working moms that have some little brats for kids. i am a full time working mother and my kids NEVER hit me. My oldests knows a hell of a lot better to do stuff like that. honestly, i don't think that thought has ever crossed his mind. they have thrown a tantrum here and there...i won't lie about that. but i don't pay attention to it and they absolutely will not get whatever it is they are throwing a tantrum over. and guess what? i don't even have to spank my kids and they turning out okay. i fully plan to be a stay at home mom next year.......my parenting skills will remain the same.

I would think its the other way around Kids need there Mother's at home.. they are just jealous.. these people that say that.. I will be a stay at home mom.. its better for the child.. oh your poor kids do you care about them at least ?

I'm not a stay at home mom, but I know that on days when we are home, if my kids are out of their routine, all hell breaks loose.
Maybe the people that you are referring to do not have a structured day. Routines are good for kids. They need it.

Maybe by the end of the day they let their kids get away with too much simply because they are too pooped to do anything about it. If you let them get away with too much just one time, then they become hellians because they want to be like that all the time, but not everyone puts up with it.
