We are proud of a "super power nation" Country's future is great' as far as it's Government is concerned,it's changes every after 4 years period or 8 years period.President of United states of America, has the power to lead the country. We all feels happy except a big loss of our brothers and sisters who are trying to weed out terrorist roots. Some kind of Sadness whenever we lose our brother or sister on the front. What should be done? good question- but as far as my knowledge is concerned The president of United State as a commander -in-chief can do something with the consent of our lawmakers in Senate & Congress and the support of administrative concerned branches and citizen at large.Thinking and action both are two side of a coins. How Predient is rolling is not our concern, cause some of the documents are top secret. What our beloved former president told us ( JFK) Don't ask the nation, what best you can do for the nation?

I feel that the gov. isn't don't the right thing. I mean, what bothers me so much is the fact that we are being lied to every day. Bush talks about terrorism and that by invading, yes...invading, Iraq he is protecting us. How the hell is he protecting ME when IRAQ is way the hell God knows where....? How is he doing that? Why does the U.S. need to invade another country to protect itself..it's a illogical, and totally makes no sense. Also, apparently for some reason people don't understand that the U.S. isn't God, and God isn't the U.S. or Bush, or any president in the future or past. We invade Iraq we call that "defending" Iraq, bringing Democracy. Who needs that kind of democracy? There is a problem when the people of America don't see that whenever the U.S. does something it's always, always GOOD, however when Iraq goes and invades Kuwait....ooh no!! we got Oil there...crap that's bad...we need to defend Kuwait.....And lastly most importantly WHO ASKED FOR DEMOCRACY in IRAQ? The people?

I love our country.

I am frustrated with our government, and with our voters.

I believe that too many Americans are (a) too lazy to even vote, but even worse, (b) too lazy to question our politicians.

This is not supposed to be a two-party system, but very clearly, in modern America, if you're not with one party, you're with the other...AND, if you're not on the good side, you're clearly on the dark side.

I'm personally very tired of being lumped into a category that I never asked to be in, just because I disagree with someone on ONE issue. I'm tired of being labeled "Conservative" or "Liberal", and not being allowed to be somewhere in the middle. I'm also very tired of the media believing that just because they say something, I'm going to believe them and change my vote because of it.

What I really think needs to be done (although I don't expect it, and would not be happy while it's happening), is that we need a revolution. Our Founding Fathers gave us the right to bear arms...that was not so that we could go out hunting on the weekend...that was so that we could wage war on the government, when those in power were abusing their privileges. They were expecting the government to last 20 - 50 years, not 200+.

My next choice would be to have all federal laws on taxation, education, health care, employment and lobbying completely eliminated, and then have a new set written. Again, I don't expect that to happen, but there's my wish list!

This is a GREAT Country by far, we've just gotten of the path as to why this country is what it is. Our governors have wavered from being "states men" (today it would be "States persons") and are to focused on being politicians. Frankly, we're never going to please everyone, every time. We need to focus more on the majority and less on our political careers. Remember..In the beginning all the country's leaders were volunteers.

I feel sickened everytime a Cabinet level member gets in front of the Camera. I wonder what lie they will be stretching now. What can be done? They don't have the willpower to stand up to their boss so nothing will happen until he leaves office.

I love the United States and the form of government. We just need to change those that represent us. There are too many "lifers" in important seats in the government. Then we need to get rid of Bush the liar, too.

Those are two different questions. I LOVE America!!! I HATE it's government!!! I personally think the Constitution is outdated. I think we should be a true democracy and have a vote for all laws. We now have the technology so that it is possible.

USA is the greatest country on Earth. Our government will always bicker among themselves as they always have. I wouldn't live anywhere else and when I visit outside the country I am always grateful when I come home.

I think we should participate, first and foremost. Not just voting, but debating, reading and thinking about current events.
I love our country but I'm afraid that it is plagued with so much hatred and distrust that people will just accept things as they are and continue the pattern of neglect which will perpetuate the rot.
