Yes, and it has taken me years. But now after all my studies,
I have found what I was looking for.

I studied Christianity, some of Judaism (to get a better idea of what the Old Test really is) and studied different Pagan beliefs, mainly Greek, Egyptian and Celtic. I did more historical and philosophical research than scientific, unless it touched on something I could actually search in that field (such as the earth being 6,000 yrs old). I did alot of this research over the past 15+ yrs, along with "soul-searching" (if that's what you want to call it). As for it being absolute Truth, there really isn't any way for me to prove that. But I do feel that what I have found is Truthful... so long as I remain honest.

Oh boy, I'm a research junkie and ended up becoming a Christian after reading "The Signature of God" by Grant Jeffrey. This book gave my scientific mind answers. Good luck in your search, hope you find Jesus.

Genuine people don't go around "shopping" for a belief system. It's a matter of hearing the truth and either believing it or rejecting it.

If you're shopping, you're simply finding a belief system that follows your lifestyle. There's no "following" involved. You're leading all the way. And THAT is NOT faith.

The Bible was the most extensive study,in determining my switch from the religion I was raised with to the religion I practice today. As adults it is important to confirm what we have been taught as children, or seek what you believe to be true.

I follow what I know to be true in my heart. I did no studies or anyhting until after I had accepted the truth of the scriptures.

It helps to know which one has the strongest oligarcy and military. That way you can go out and crush others that don't agree better than the next guy. That's real important because that's what religions are all about!

Yes. I listened to tons of preachings and came across many Bible verses that support the Christian philosophy that humans deserve to go to hell and can't go to heaven without "accepting Jesus." After my disagreement on the previous statements, I decided not to believe in the bible, as part of my belief that no one should be punished for pursuing one's own preference in worship to God, which Christianity calls "idolatry." Hopefully this answers your question....
