the answer is D) +5

your material actually consists of
NH4+
and
H2PO4-

in order to calculate the ox # of P you don't need to worry about the NH4+ part ;)

O is -II (= -8 for 4 O)
H is +I (= +2 for 2 H)
The molecule has a charge of -1 hence the balance is +5

well its most likey +
O is -2 times 4 = -8
H is +1 times 4 = +4
H is +1 times 2 = +2
N is -4 i think = -4 hence ammonium
I think its +5 and you should have a - after the formula
