i live in the ar*e of nowhere and as a result do not recieve broadband the only thing that fone companys will sell to me is ISDN, now i got the box from Eircomm but have hit a snag getting hold of a modem, I was told wen i asked for one in maplins "We dont sell them anymore theyre obselete"
i have tried the external usb modems and they cause nothing but trouble, the pc they are attached to frequently crashes especially wen somone picks up the housefone (the box is dual line and this happens even wen the pc is using one line), and the drivers are correct and up to date
Its annoying how they can sell the box but not the card

I ordered one from Watford Electronics (savastore.com) and it never arrived, i have chased it up but got sick of being lied to.

does anyone know of anywhere else that i can get a working card?

Yesterday, instead of buying a larger bike rack to fit an emergency kit & place to store a tarp, I drilled one of my old tackle boxs onto a my current bike rack.

It must be in my genes. My grandma (who grew up in the depression) would take strap metal and wood and makes storage sheds out of them

This weekend my daughter was spending time over my cousin's house while I was running errands. She wanted something to eat so she used the microwave to heat up something. She put it in there for too long and it burned. It produced a lot of smoke in the house. So when me and my cousin arrived at the house, we didn't know why there was so much smoke. She had gotten rid of the evidence. So we called 911 and summoned the fire dept. They couldn't find anything. I asked several times during all this if she attempted to cook anything and she flat out lied. The fireman then found the burnt peice of whatever it was in the trash. She then decided to tell the truth. I was so angry that I couldn't spank her because I would have beat the s*** out of her. So I removed myself from the room to calm down. Now I want her to remember what the hell she did and know that there are serious consequences for lying and causing problems of that nature. Please give me some unique ideas.

We are gonna have a BBQ (Braai in SA) with his family on saturday (a day b4 his actual day) and I was thinking romatic dinner or picnic at the zoo with him on his day but I am without ideas on gifts. This is the very first year that we are gonna celebrate with me in the same continent as him and also as a married couple. He loves the outdoors and he is very cosmopolitan. My day is in November (just two days after my second graduation for the year 2006) so to celebrate he is taking me outdoors hence I have to find something very unique for him.

I have anemia and need to take more iron my doctor gave me repliva which is making my stomach hurt I know iron makes your tummy like this but I stil take it to be safe. I will ask her If I could drink someting else but, Did you have this while prenant? What did you take?

Most of my work experience has been customer service, credit control and administration. One of the reasons why I want to become a tax adviser is because I enjoy working with figures and there are lots of opportunities such as becoming a self employed tax adviser, etc. However, the obstacle that I can see is that my academic qualifications are not that good & usually employers these days require applicants to have at least a 2.1 in their degree. My age is another problem.

Please advise how I can overcome these problems & if there are any other careers that I can pursue which do nor require such high academic achievements.

Me and my roommate have had this ongoing argument about how long milk last after it has been open. I (and all of our friends) say its good till the expiration date, he says that it will only last about three days after you open it no matter when it expires, then he tries throwing it away. In which I usually stop him and use it until its gone (without ever getting sick). I hope this will help settle this once and for all. Thanks.

I invited a guy friend (whom Ive previously had dealigns with, but stirctly platonic now) over to my house for dinner. We never left my dining room table but the man of my life found out and is very hurt by it. So much so that he doesnt want to be in a relationship with me anymore. I never tried to say that I wasnt wrong for having the guy over but I am very remorseful (not because he found out...I was trying to tell him). He doesnt want to hear it because he feels betrayed like he doesnt know me and that what I did was very disrespectful. He feels that our relationship was never what I said it was and that Im not the type of woman he wants to be with ( a deceptive and dishonest woman). Is there any chance that he will forgive me with time? I love him more than I think he knows and am willing to start over and try to rebuild this trust. Is there a Happy ending in sight?

I'm from Canada, and would like to know why so many people on here are obsessed with illegal immigration from Mexico into the United States. Are there several political campaigns against it in the US? Does the media cover the issue frequently? When did this become such a huge issue in the US (or is it only on here)? After going on line I found that the co. should specify with a certificate on the lable that it is trueAfrican and that $$' will be paid to thr tribe. I am looking at buying a house but want to know how much it would cost to get all new carpet. It is a small two bedroom house around 1000 square feet i would guess. I don't have a lot of money. I know you can get cheap and expensive carpet i want not the expensive and not the cheapest so how much do you think it would cost to have someone do it and buy the carept.
