I'm one of the best men at my friend's engagement party. The other best man can't make it because he's working, while I just don't feel like driving four hours for a party. Of course I'll be at the wedding but is the engagement party really necessary?

I know this is probably in the wrong section, but I can't find the 'right' one, so I will put it in one of my favorite sections. Anyway, I have been having a strange dream. The first time, I talked with my fiance and didn't think twice about it. This time, tho, it really upset me since it's the second in a week like it.

In the first one, I was really upset because my fiance had to go away for the night. I told him that I don't sleep well when he isn't there, which is true (we live together and he is home nightly). This time I had one where he got ready to leave and said that he would see me tomorrow. I was busy cooking and was shocked. He didn't tell me about it (in life, this is not like him). In this dream he ws dressed in some type of uniform, such as for the military. I got mad and was slamming doors. He said he thought he told me, but he never did. After awhile, he came back to me and said he was sorry, told me where he was going and why, and we made up.

ok.. i have a JM tree that has been at my house since i was born.. (18 years) and befor that even. the tree has been the for atleast 35 years.. and is extreamly sentimental to me. i jsut can bear to lose it.. but the county id putting a water line in and is going to dig it up or something to it.. basically destroy it.. and i jsut cant bear it.. the tre is about 10ft tall and about 6 feet at its widest point.. is there any thing at all that i can do or they can do?

I like to go to clubs and dance. I like crocheting and cross stitching. I need to write a 7 minute informative speech on a hobby of mine. I just don't see 7 minutes coming from any of these. I played softball, but I can't talk about experiences. I have to be informative, like teaching the class about something. What could I do? I think I'm going to have to make a hobby up.

i buy what claims to be the warmest socks...i looked at the electric socks and they looked cheap, like they were already falling apart..i bought a pair of those inserts that go into the boots, but a pair that fits your feet won't fit the boots...any help?

Ethics and Morals should always be upheld, and should be something that politicians should have in mind. Yet, a lot of times when these political figures get into a tight spot or are short of votes, they invoke God to run beside them, do people actually believe that God is their running mate? It is truly sad when they would use someone's faith and devotion as a tool to undermine their intelligence for their own political and personal gain.

I am looking for a very specific type of tree- something a bit different. The image i have in my head is like a five foot tree with no leaves on. One that looks like a dead tree basically but white or cream? And NOT one of those really tacky fibre optic ones. Any ideas where i could find one like this?
