Call and tell your mom a story about how hot and young grandma's are looking today like her .. wait to see how long it takes her to realize you referred to her as grandma..lol. I seen a t-shirt in the mall you can have the ultrasound put on and it says stuff like coming this summer, future grandbaby, those are fun to get for the grandparents to be. Congratulations by the way!!

My daughters were in cahoots. My oldest called my youngest when I was at my parent's house and on speaker phone said, "Hi Mom, um....I'm pregnant". My whole family was there. My parents (great grandparents) were extatic, and my granparents(great great grandparents) were so happy. Me? I almost fell over with a smallish stroke but I'm good now and my grandson is such a cute boy!!!
Its a great way to tell the whole family all at one time.

Send them a comgratulations card, and some t-shirts or coffee mugs that say "World's Besr Grandma/Grandpa". Then, send them a copy of the pic from your ultrasound.

I did this: Send them a box of baby needs (diapers, pacifers, bottles, onesies etc) and see how long tell the figure it out, our parents called and said did you send us the wrong box... =) and I said no think real hard and they figured it out they were excited.

too bad it didn't happen in September 'cause you could have sent them a grandparents' day card

buy a decorative frame at Kohl's or somewhere like that that says "grandparents" or something on it. put a picture of you in it, holding your belly even if you're not really showing yet. send it to them and they'll get the idea

It would be neat if you were to drive there and surprise them. You could even actually wear a pillow under your dress as a joke or buy a baby doll and wrap it up in a blanket. That would be fun.

Mail them a realistic-looking newborn baby doll with a note saying: "Congratulations, grandparents-to-be! The flesh and blood one will arrive on or about [write your due date here]".

please dont send them dolls.

i always see them on tv during horror movies, and they freak me out personally. i never quite love barbies.

i think the box of baby needs suggested by another user is need. is winter coming? send them baby mittens and tell them their grandchild will need it the next year you're visiting.

or a simple email. or ask your grandma how did your mum tell her. make a a tradition, maybe? seems cool.

Do a video with a giant rabbit dying after you touch it (somethink in pregnant womens blood kills rabbits-primitive pregnancy test).

OR send them a dollbaby that says GRAND MA or something like that.

I just hope you aren't 13 and going to kill them.
