I just got done reading an article on Yahoo! news. First they take away dodgeball now tag? WTF is this world coming to when schools are forced to take the fun out of education for fear of frivilous lawsuits from greedy money hungry parents? Am I overreacting here? Is this something that warrants attention from school boards? What would you do to help keep the fun in education while protecting schools from frivious lawsuits?

Then after about 10 minutes or so it will stay idle and won't stall. Why does this seem to be happening to me. It also seems to be happening more frequently. Please help me understand why and what I can do to prevent this from happening. Thanks!

What popular artist/group, any genre, enjoy fame and fortune and you just don't understand all the hype?

For me it's Hootie and the Blowfish! What is up with them? All of their songs sound the same...I also don't see what is so great about Barbra Striesand! I cannot stand that woman's voice.

Anyone have any thoughts on this?

i put them in time out , punish them, take away their toys... and they still get into stuff and mess everything up, just all of my husband and i's stuff.... our house is always a mess and im just sick and tired of picking up after them everyday , i cant take the mess anymore and im sick of cleaning.. i cant put everything up and i feel like i shouldnt have to... any ideas to make them help besides what ive done??? My kids are 4 and 2.

In AZ, I don't have to be tested again till I'm 65 and then over that age I think you go years inbetween testing. I wouldn't even mind being tested annually if it meant the elderly were tested because, damn, I'm sick of elderly people driving into stuff. Yes, I know not all elderly people are bad drivers, but they're the second most dangerous demographic next to 16 and 17 year olds.

I do not eat breakfast because i dont have time and it makes me sick to my stomach if i do eat its low fat oatmeal (1 pack is 140 calories) just one package. then i drink green tea which has no callories and usually soup or salad, or chicken for lunch depending anyways i usually eat under 1000 callories a day...i want to know what i can healthly cut it down to too lose a steady 3-4 pounds a week. Im at 132 now and my goal is 110

PS i do work out every other day and i do drink tons of water every day and i dont drink soda or eat "fast food".

this is really something im having a lot of trouble thinking about.
bascially to cut a long story short, someone sent a letter to my house.addressed to my dad and not written in english.but in my other language which i do not know how to read or write.my dad didnt open it my mum did.it bascially said to my dad that im [his daughter] and my name was written, i am going around with some guy and it named most of the places we apprently went to.it says ive been to his house [was this guy standing on the streets all day waiting for me to into the house] plus my bf lives in a quiet area where no one is really around so how did this person see me go into his house plus doesnt my bf have family around...he lives with his parents so what if i went to their house hes got a sister my age., letter also said i was at the west end and along with few other places.the letter was almost detailed account of what i did.and the worse thing is how does this person happen to turn up at all these places and whats it got to do with this person.if sone one is so concerend about my whereabouts, wouldnt normal people just come up to and talk to me, or even tell my dad face to face, why write a anonymous letter im really shcoked.......im 21 for gods sake and i wasnt even doing anything wrong....how dare this person who i have no idea who it is, why are they doing this.dont otehr people do this.i know a million people go to a kmillion places everyday i just cant see why this happened to me.the letter bascially said that my dad should have more control of me and that i was going out with some bloke [and i shouldnt be...]letter said that my paretns are really good peole and how cold i bring a bad name to them,/it was writeen in a sympathetic tone towards my father but that would obviously make it look believable.
the letter said i didnt want to tell you to your face as it would embarses my dad
but writiing a letter? that wouldnt make it worse?how could someone be so cunning...i just dont get it..why someone would do it....wouldnt writing a letter cause more grief?
AND APPenrently everyone is talking about me....probly saying `oh look at so and sos daughter the slag` even though i am not.....
im sscared as someone might be follwing me or i have no idea whats going on....its making my life a nightmare.....

2] it was written in another language...i dnt know anyone my age who can write in that language excpet someone my dads ages.....like an uncle

I know that pre-1920 silver coins were sterling silver 92.5% silver 7.5% copper, post 1946 they're cupro-nickel 75% copper 25% nickel and inbetween they were only 50% silver but they went through a couple of compostion changes.. c(sub n+1)=c(sub n) - f(c(sub n))/f'(c(sub n)) is the formula.

The Problem
Approximate the root of y=x^3+x^2-5, using c(sub 0)=1 as the initial guess.

I know the concept of repeating this process until the approximation becomes closer and closer, but I am confused as to what values you plug in where in the formula. Thanks for your help.
