Montana, Graham and Unitas should be tops on anyone's list. And Elway and Marino both had incredible arms (and passing yardage) with the obvious edge going to Elway for the 2 rings. Which brings up the natural question about what is more important, rings or stats? The answer is championships because a championship takes into account the entire season's ups and downs - sometimes the best decision is not to pass. A 'field general' QB who's consistently able to rally the troops and get the W is more valuable than a rocket arm who can pass for 500 yards, but can't close the deal. That's why Bradshaw rates higher on my list and Marino falls lower. Here's my rankings:

1. Graham (underrated in previous answsers probably because his SEVEN championships are pre-NFL/SB era)
2. Montana (great stats, leadership, 4 rings)
3. Unitas (very good stats in 2 eras, 2 championships, 1 ring)
4. Bradshaw (great field generalship, good stats, 4 rings)
5. Elway (great stats, 2 rings)
6. Marino (great stats, no rings)

1) Unitas - toughest ever
2) Graham - almost as tough in an era when QB's got hit
3) Montana - Cool Hand Joe didn't look pretty but got it done
4) Elway - he willed his team to win - great leader
5) Marino - best raw skills but lacking in all other departments
6) Anybody in the NFL today
7) The starter for my son's HS school team
8) My neighbor's 10-year-old
9) Bradshaw - Ryan Leaf would've won 4 Super Bowls w/Harris, Bleier, Swann, Stallworth & Cunningham on offense & that defense to protect him. Bradshaw's the most overrated QB in the history of the NFL.

Marino
Montanta
Unitis
Bradshaw
Elway (don't mean to be negative, but when people say he's great because he won 2 superbowls at the end of career--> let's take a look: w/o a running game, he lost 3, w/ a running game (aka: Terrell Davis), he actually won)

And I've never seen Graham play or seen any stats or anything
