I keep reading things online on how our kidneys can only process so much protein at one time...the rest gets stripped of amino acids and used as energy, goes to urea, or converts to fat. I know metabolism is extremely high after a workout, and our kidneys can absorb more protein during that time frame...but, other than that, how much protein can our kidneys absorb, and how long a time frame in between?

I've bought a USB cable with a 4 pin IEEE1394 connector on one end and a USB A connector on the other. When I connected the video camera using the cable to the PC, Windows XP indicated that an unknown device was installed. I intend to use Windows Movie Maker 2 to import the video clips into the PC.

I'm just curious... to you believers, have you ever met a real-life atheist? I've met many Christians and when I've told them I'm a non-believer, I usually get, "but... you're too NICE to be an atheist." or "I never would have guessed you are not a believer!" Just what, exactly, would you think an atheist is? Horns? A tail? A Pentagram on our foreheads? Sacrificing small animals to the midnight moon?

My baby just turned 1 and he will only drink a sip or two of water during the day. He is still breastfed and on solids, but a very picky eater. Any idea if this is ok/healthy for him? You hear so much about hydration, it makes a new mom worry!

my back's in a lot of pain, and nothing is helping. I went to the chemist, who told me the strongest thing i can take is panadeine (paracetemol + codeine), well that hasn't done a thing. i've tried heat packs, hot water bottles, massage, stretching, sleeping on my side, sleeping on my stomach, nothing is helping. I have 3 other children to look after, including a 10 month old and a home to maintain. I can't be out of action. the doctor has written a letter to the hospital to refer me to physio, but that won't be for at least another 2 weeks! please help me. Also, does this mean I will have to have a caesarean?

Gosh! why do i like this guy???? I know he is just playing with me, he asked one girl to homecoming, then when she said no, he comes to me. he danced with me twice, and i was the only one he slowdanced with. He acts like he likes me, but then is likein love with my friend. All my friends dont like him, and today, when people asked me who i danced with, they all were really surprised and said i was too good for him. nobody wants me to go out with him, and im afraid that if i let myself like him, ill get hurt. So why if i dont want to like him, i still do?

I am a white guy, married to a Mexican woman. We'rehappy and have 2 girls. My parents are great, But, I have a half brother and a bro-inlaw who are the most racist people I know. They do the passive agressive white thing ofcourse, never say a thing to me or my fam but it's the comments they make behind my back that really piss me off. 2 examples:
1. tonight we had a birthday party for my kids and when we were done singin happy b-day my brother leans over to my dad and says; "hey, aren't we supposed to sing 'feliz cumpleanos'? 2. A couple of years ago I was watchin a football game on thxgiving at my bro-inlaws house with him and my brother and two of his young boys. One of the black players had dreadlocks hangin out of his helmet and my bro in law goes: I dont know what's up with these (N-words) and their hair. It was his house so I couldn't really say anything but I had to leave I was so mad. How do I deal with this without making it a huge FAMILY DRAMA incident.

We're making a movie and will drive the 5-man (actually, four men, one woman) crew to Hotlanta for the shoot. We'd like to know from any expert RV'ers out there in TV Land about how much we'd need to spend in gasoline from here to there (about a three-or-four-day trip in probably a rented RV from CruiseAmerica or some other RV rental place). And the size of the RV would be a pretty big one, I guess, if we're taking five peeps with us.

Oh, by the way, it would be about 6-8 days driving both ways, total.
