I'm sorry to tell you this, but IdK (I Don't Know) is a way a girl will use an indirect approach to let you know that she is not interested in taking the step that you are requesting of her. Many times people will talk online because they enjoy being able to communicate with other people, but they want to keep it that way. Just penpal internet friends talking to each every once in a while for nothing more than having good company. I can tell you from her comments that she is not interested in going further than chatting online and that she also is only interested in maintaining a friendship. All that would end up happening for you in this situation would be heartache if you were to keep pursuing her. Be patient as the right woman will come your way.

u said u chat with her SOMETIME online??? if its only sometimes then the trust must not be there for her to u know trust you, gosh i'd say 6-8 years ago i can't recall but i waited till i felt comfortable talking to the guy on the phone in where he could have my number, we must've chatted for a duration of half a year to longer. or another way works is if u have a mic and let her get use to hearing your voice over th emessenger is a great way. but to answer the she responds with IDK, it may be tied in with what i said about myself or she is just not into getting to know ppl more than just instant messaging, but just ask her... 1. would u ever mind talkin on the phone 2. do u atleast believe the things we talk about, as in believe in what i say?

I guess it depends on how long you have been chatting with her. It's been my experience that women can be afraid of giving their number to a man that they have met online, possibly because of the horror stories they have heard and the news stories of women being assaulted and killed by someone they met online. Don't bug her for the number. When she is ready and feels comfortable enough to give it to you, then she will. If she doesn't, don't get desperate and give her yours. It might make you appear needy and in too much of a rush.

I'm sorry but she sounds like a jerk. She isn't interested in you. Usually when someone's interested, and you ask for their number, they will give it to you. This girl is not worth it so you should just move on and find someone who is willing to get to know you better.
It may be that the girl lives at home with her parents and is underage, so she can't give you her number.....but still that doesn't mean anything. People find a way to talk to others via phone......so yeah....give it up and find someone worthwhile.

She's probably just scared that your some freaky stalker. Give her your number and say that she can block her phone call. I had a guy to this for me and i actually did cann him. Have fun.

Maybe she's seeing someone, and she's not ready to give you her phone #. Ask her if she's seeing someone. If she is, then you'll understand what she meant by not right now.
