As of November 19th Wal-Mart will no longer be accepting anymore layaways and all active layaways MUST be pulled out by December 8th, no exceptions.

Wal-Mart claims they lose money on seasonal items such as clothing and school supplies and such. I have noticed that the Wal-Mart I work at posts a sign that says summer furniture (like what is in lawn and garden) is not able to be put in layaway after a certian date. Why can't they do the same with the other items?

I put in layaways all year long and it is very helpful with Christmas and Birthdays. The only KMart in this area I know of looks like a DUMP!

Anyways what are YOUR feelings of layaway being closed and if you are AGAINST it PLEASE sign this petition started by a motherof 6 that doesn't the layways to stop.

I have been friends with someone for 2 years and we have had the most dramatic friendship any two people could have. He fell in love with me, I didnt give him the time of day. I experienced things with other guys, he was crushed. He met someone else. He left to Sweden to be with her, but the time before he left, he said he wasnt sure if he was going to miss me more than a friend. I realized I was in love with him. He came back because he wanted to be with me. The whole thing was a lie, he came back because Sweden wasnt for him and the girl is coming back here to be with him. While he was there, he said they broke up in Sweden but another lie. Their plan was to come back here and live their lives together. Even when she was here, he cheated on her with me. Even when he was away in sweden, he wrote me saying he missed me and loves me. To this day, he cheats on his girlfriend with me. I am a horrible person. I want to know who his heart belongs to. One day he says her and the next me.....

Im 42 with endometerious my periods are so painful ,they are not cramps its pain like labor only on one side ,I have been to 3 different doctors and all they do is stop my periods for a short time or keep indusing birth control and im fixed can have baby no more .but I have anxiety just knowing its time for a period the pain is unreal ,thru the roof pain .but no doctor seems to take me serious .and my sister had a tumor in her females that was not found on ultrsound but when they cut her open there was why she had pain .I have had one ultra sound and they didnt see nothing .but I know something is wrong ,anyone with this kinda of pain only on one side my left tube and lower back ??any advise or home remidies for the pain .

Im planning on getting a Onkyo HT-S790 HT System. Also want to get a Optoma HD70 projector with a Sony Upconversion DVD Player. All but the Onkyo have HDMI. My question is

a) How will I get the audio out from the DVD player to the Onkyo Reciever without quality loss (no HDMI!) ? Toslink ? Does Optical/Toslink support 7.1 audio ?

Does lacking HDMI in the reciever compromise audio quality?

reasons i feel people do not vote; unaware of the issues, social stigma that it doesnt count, plain old laziness. in some states the out come may be pretty much decided because they are pretty sure they can count on some group not to vote on larger elections. Some states are majority democrat or republican sure and when it comes for voting on higher offices its either one or the other too but you can still go out an vote. Voting for your city councilman, mayors or other lower level public elects, these influence the higher officials and working of the government in a whole.

I am married now but when I was dating I had certain expectations. I did not date girls with kids, or who did not finish high school. They had to be in college like me and also did not have plans of being a stay at home mom. Because I have no intention of being the primary bread winner when I got married. Some people said (that it was to narrow and that I could miss out on a great girl but I want someone I feel is on my level. God forbid something happened and I was single again I would date a woman with kids because I have one now. But she would have to have a degree. I expect the same out of a woman as I do out of myself

A few years ago when i was in summer school everyone in my class had to pick a mystery to do a report on. Some kid picked something about an experiment on some teleport device the government supposedly created back in the 50's or 60's or something like that. But it was abandoned and destroyed because the people that used it apparently went insane or something. Then the experiment was covered up by the government.

I think it went something like that. I can hardly remember but does anyone know what this is? I think it was called something like the "birmingham experiment" or something like that.

Over the summer I became really good friends with this girl we would talk everyday and i thought she was starting to like me but i knew she had a thing for this other guy as well. Now I realize it's not summer anymore and her friends are back from vacation so we would talk when we could but now she is going out with the other guy and doesnt even talk to me at all. I had thought she had liked me but now it seems like i had only been a temporary replacement and the "second pick" of who she liked better between me and this other guy.

even if she doesnt like me more than a friend, does that mean she cant even talk to me anymore just as a friend? I just feel like telling her off the next time she wants to talk to me.
