Well, "within" is 內 nei4, and "spirit" (of a human being) is 灵魂 ling2 hun3. However, you can't just put those two together and get "the spirit within". Chinese is not that easy. "Spirit" can have a few translations: soul, ghost, emotion, personality, or as in "team spirit". I'm assuming your meaning is soul, or your personal zest for life. If you want to imply that it is yours, and it's inside you, you need to add the character for "heart". The closest translation, therefore, for "the spirit within" would be: 心灵 xin1 ling2. It's literally the character for "heart" combined with the character for "soul". The translation would be something like "the spirit inside my heart". Hope this helps!
