Over the summer I became really good friends with this girl we would talk everyday and i thought she was starting to like me but i knew she had a thing for this other guy as well. Now I realize it's not summer anymore and her friends are back from vacation so we would talk when we could but now she is going out with the other guy and doesnt even talk to me at all. I had thought she had liked me but now it seems like i had only been a temporary replacement and the "second pick" of who she liked better between me and this other guy.

even if she doesnt like me more than a friend, does that mean she cant even talk to me anymore just as a friend? I just feel like telling her off the next time she wants to talk to me.

I think you should give her more time. Just because seasons change doesn't necessarily mean people will. The best thing to do is to ask her and be honest to her about your feelings. Tell her you don't want to be a replacement person for this other guy and just wait and sit on the back burner while you could be seeing, dating or talking too other people. Let her be the replacement and she will see where all the attention goes.

Hi vex,

I wouldn't give her the time of the day from here on out. She's got what she wants now, so don't bother even talking to her from now on. If she ever calls you again to talk to you, tell her that you're too busy to chat with her. Don't keep her entertained while her real boy friend isn't around. You wouldn't want to be that boy friend and seeing a guy following your girl around like a puppy.

Forget her and try to find somebody else. You are wasting your precious time on a chick that doesn't care about you. Get out and get some phone numbers from girls. Get out with your buddies and hunt in packs.

Also, you need to check out the Tom Leykis radio show to learn more about what you should do. You definitely need to learn a little Leykis-101 to get more women in your life. Find out if this show is broadcast in your area. Here's his web site:

I hope that this helps you. Good luck and happy hunting.

honestly she seems really immature and not worth your time anyway. i dont know how old you are, but it all seems very high school to me. if you are in high school, dont worry... people will be more mature, if not, then she sounds like she should go back to HS and learn how to be civil. i dont think you should tell her off, it only gives her validation. honestly, i would say ignore her from now and move on... there are more fish in the sea.

if she doesn't talk to you as just a friend then she isn't worth your time or energy. you liek and she likes you as it sounds but if it isn't what you feel then you should tell her to just leave you alone..
