A few years ago when i was in summer school everyone in my class had to pick a mystery to do a report on. Some kid picked something about an experiment on some teleport device the government supposedly created back in the 50's or 60's or something like that. But it was abandoned and destroyed because the people that used it apparently went insane or something. Then the experiment was covered up by the government.

I think it went something like that. I can hardly remember but does anyone know what this is? I think it was called something like the "birmingham experiment" or something like that.

i'm over 50 years old and i hear the same rumors/stories about the government trying to make a teleporter in the early 60s. what i heard was they tried to teleport a crystal of some type. crystal because it has a simple molecular structure. they succeeded in taking it apart/ disassembling it at the transmitter but couldn't reassemble it at the receiver. seems it took alot more energy to put something together than it took to take it apart. i wouldn't put it passed the feds to be at least 20-50 years ahead of what we, the public, think we know
