greetings...I'm in California and its Wednesday October 4th 06
current time is 9:15pm. new york is a three hour difference so its 12:15am east coast. to help you in the future, double click your little clock in the bottom right hand corner of your monitor. when the time display appears, you can enter any state you wish to get there exact time. good luck

It's just about 12:15 at night. There's a really good web page that lets you put in one (or more) cities and see what time it is in those locations, so you can always check:

Sometimes the whole address doesn't appear in these answers, but the link works. I use that site all the time when scheduling conference calls with people in different parts of the world.
