I've been heavily involved with my son in Scouts since he was 6; I'm a trained leader, have served on committee, raised money, worked my tail off, volunteered for EVERYTHING. Now he's a BOY SCOUT & I went on one campout in August - I also have an 8 year old daughter, who has served as "mascot" from the time she was 2. The mother of one of the scouts approached me & say she doesnt' want me or my daughter to go on anymore camping trips; now that they are BOY SCOUTS it's not supposed to be girls involved. Her reasoning "if my son wants to step behind a tree to take a leak, he doesn't want to have to worry about where your daughter is". (her words) I don't think that's a sufficient excuse; I supervise & help, I contribute $ & food, time & energy. My daughter stays with me, not the Scouts. She doesn't interfere or get in their stuff. So am I wrong for being upset? This woman has never gone on a camping trip, she does nothing. Do I let one woman interfere or should I back down & stay home?

My wife and I have been separated effectively, living separate lives and exchanging child care duties and trying not to be in the same space since January. Now she wants to move out and physically separate. I say, well if you want to move out, let''s just get a divorce. She says that she thinks that maybe we can work it out after being separated for a while. I told her that we are separated and I have contacted a lawyer and started divorce proceedings, even making an appointment with a divorce property mediator. Am I wrong not to try the separation? We have a 4 year old. There are no big issues like addiction or adultery or abuse. In my mind we were simply having a rough period after 17 years.

The other day I spilled some cereal on my way out to work, and when I came home, all I saw was mice all over. I threw cereal at them to scare them away, but more and more came out. So, I kept throwing cereal, and even more came out after that. Now my house is full of mice. Whats going on with that?

My house was built in 1986, about 3000 sqft, 2 story and colonial style.
I noticed some black stains on the roof and was told that it was molding. No leaks(maybe not yet ?) and no shades or tall trees around.
When I got roofers for an estimate, some said it's ok with re-roofing meaning putting new shingles over the exiting ones. Others said they need to take out the old and put down the new shingles.

Can I have your expert advice on this ? Thanks.

As Media Matters for America has noted, the false claim originated in an August 11, 2002, article on the right-wing news website NewsMax.com that blared the headline "Clinton Admits: I Nixed Bin Laden Extradition Offer," distorting a speech Clinton made in 2002. While he did acknowledge in a July 8 interview with CNN chief international correspondent Christiane Amanpour that he mistakenly implied that the United States was offered bin Laden in that 2002 speech, at no point did Clinton say that Sudan offered bin Laden to the United States in the speech.

The bipartisan 9-11 Commission found (pdf) "no reliable evidence to support" the claim that Sudan offered bin Laden to the United States and determined (pdf) that, based on Clinton's testimony, in "wrongly recounting a number of press stories he had read," Clinton had "misspoken" in his 2002 speech. Clinton further refuted the allegation in a June 20 interview on CBS's 60 Minutes when he said: "There was a story which is factually inaccurate that the Sudanese offered bin Laden to us. ... As far as I know, there is not a shred of evidence of that."

i have just settled into a new house with my fiance but what i miss from 'home' is the cat and dog. i really want to get a kitten as its not fair to leave a dog all day. Anyway, i don't mind litter trays to begin with but want to train it to go outside, my problem is that front and back gardens are both paved and didn't think cats would go on paving stones and maybe need grass. I'm thinking it will venture into neighbours gardens, which i doubt they'd appreciate. Is there another way? help! i really want one!

My skin on my cheeks is red, bumpy and itches like crazy. I stopped using it to let my skin settle for a couple of days and then used it again and had the same reaction.
