Why is it that in the media when referring to gay people they ALWAYS say for example "this new law is an outrage in the gay and lesbian community" why dont they just say the gay community? They both are that.

My wife said that she was not happy because I didn't participate enough in child care duties and household responsibilities and I worked too much and she wanted to go out more. We live in the same house but are effectively separated because my wife has withdrawn from the marriage for the last 8 months. During that time, I have taken cooking lessons and started cooking more, I pick up my daughter everyday from preschool, I clean up around the house and stay with my daughter while her mother goes to her running club and spanish classes. Whenever I ask her to go out ( I even bought tickets to three concerts) she is not interested. She said that I am only doing it because she has withdrawn from the marriage and not because I want to. I want to stay married, I love her and I am doing what she wants because i want to make her happy. Why is that not enough? Am I missing something. It makes me believe that she never loved me, really so I am filing for divorce.

My boyfriend and I got into an argument. (I will keep the subject of the argument confidential).I questioned something he had said and he thought I was insenuating something that I was not. (Although what he thought I was insenuating was very harsh). This made him so mad.( I could see where it would've if that had been the case). He told me to shut up and get out of his room. So, I decided I would just leave. I was picking up my clothes I had left in the floor so I could get dressed and leave. He asked what I was doing and I ignored him. I was just going to get my stuff and go. He continued to ask what I was doing. I continued to ignore him. He told me to shut-up and get out of his room right? Yes, so that was what I was doing. He grabbed and and threw me out of his room. I don't know if I should be worried about this or not. I know what he thought I was insenuating about him was awful. But I feel like he should have asked if that's what I was saying before he grabbed me. Abuse or not?

I'm looking at a Sony Receiver. I am going to use it as part of a Home Theater System (HTS) that I am putting together. Cost is an issue so this receiver is a nice balance for me as far as power and cost.

This receiver has "HDMI Passthrough" Below is the description from the web. In summary it appears there are 2 HDMI inputs and 1 output.

"Receiver: The receiver boasts 900 watts of power and features HDMI passthrough that allows for uncompressed audio and video to pass through directly to your television. The HDMI switching feature on the receiver also allows you to connect multiple sources with HDMI interface."

I have a Direct TV HD receiver that is currently connected via HDMI to my plasma TV. As I read the above though I would connect the Direct TV Receiver to the HTS Receiver, then receiver to the TV, but basically it would just "pass through" the signal. If so, would it also output to my HTS speakers at the same time?

Bottom-line can someone explain HDMI Passthrough

Guy problems??
I am in high school and me and this guy have been TALKING for 3 years....we have never gotten to the dating part it has just stayed at talking...We have gotten past the i like u do u like me stuff....and we both like eachother.....And we both care 4 eachother ALOT...but yet we still are just friends....it's weird because when he wants to try 2 get with me i am supposodly "moved on" and when i am tryin 2 get with him.....it's like umm.....we have been off and on for a while now....any advice???

I think i might even be in love with him and i'm scared to move on and everytime i do move on we always end up talkin again

Since the actions of the u.n. (small letters), which is a corrupt, ineffective and, at times, purely criminal entity, have made the fact that it hates anyone or any country that does not cave to the islamic jihad, what possible reason can any of you internationalist, peace at any price, chaberlain wanna-be's give as an argument that the u.n. (again in small small letters) shouldn't be kicked out of this country to a country that loves them and hates us, and that we shouldn't de-fund and ignore them completely. (at least then they'd have a reason to despise us.) can you twist this one into an "I hate America rant", democrats?

I noticed this morning that my Beta has a ton of bubbles at the top of his tank...why is this??
