Since the actions of the u.n. (small letters), which is a corrupt, ineffective and, at times, purely criminal entity, have made the fact that it hates anyone or any country that does not cave to the islamic jihad, what possible reason can any of you internationalist, peace at any price, chaberlain wanna-be's give as an argument that the u.n. (again in small small letters) shouldn't be kicked out of this country to a country that loves them and hates us, and that we shouldn't de-fund and ignore them completely. (at least then they'd have a reason to despise us.) can you twist this one into an "I hate America rant", democrats?

Goodness, stephanie, we had better than their backing, we're actually enforcing u.n. resolutions that the u.n. refused to enforce themselves.And having done this (removing saddam) we cannot simply Leave the country without a form of government and a body to run that form of government or it would turn into what afghanistan had become. (by the way folks take a look at afghanistan- despite getting rid of the taliban we've done more harm than good there)- but really, steph, i'm trying to pretend that your reply was an intelligent one, so i'll just nudge you toward the library to check YOUR facts. look up un resolutions on Iraq, ignored by sadam, then see who went and got him. it wasn't the un.

Well first off, the UN building is falling apart, we dont fund the UN, we dont now nor have we ever paid UN dues.
Your whole question is obviously slanted towards right wing thinking that you are either with us or you are a ******* terrorist.
So im going to pretend that your question is intelligent and thought out and doesnt imply that at all.
The UN does not despise the US despite popular neo con thinking. We did not have their approval for war. We are not the only country on earth that matters.We do not control this earth.We are not the worlds police.Remember that please? We all inhabit this one planet and need to have respect for others.
Until you take the time to understand why there is a supposed jihad against the US you will never see the point. I however firmly believe that much terrorism directed at the US, is government sponsored to control the people of America with fear. I think its horrible how you have all forgotten the meaning of this great country and allow yourselves to be manipulated. So don't blame the UN for calling it like it sees it, blame yourselves for refusing to see the truth about what the US has become. Before you go on-and-on with the WW II appeasement argument, remember that in America it was Republicans who wanted to let Hitler and the rest of Europe solve their own problems. FDR had to drag you guys kicking and screaming into the wars against Hitler and Japan. And, we already knew the Holocaust was happening.
