why do they come to you, some "interesrting things" !!! for them
( not humans)
eatables, papers, wood to bite, ...........
so shut all interesting things to them;
why would they waiste time on you / your room then!!!
so, make your room boring;

Do NOT use poisons! Especially Decon! Poisons do work on killing mice but when the mice goes outside and is captured by an owl you just killed an owl too! Many owls are endangered. Not to mention their are other animals that will be poisoned if they eat the mouse.
Traps are best! It takes time to get over seeing them dead in the trap but there is an alternative there are traps that don't kill them but remember releasing them back outside Just means they'll come back.
Also don't use those glue traps. Those are cruel. The mouse dies by starvation or dehydration. That's just cruel....
You can also try those sonic things. They make sounds we can't hear and deter mice. They also make dogs bark.

You can use what is called the mice motel. I had mice also and i caught 13. It works great.

option 2 get a snake as a pet

get several mouse traps it put a little peanut butter on it and wait to empty them.
