i have just ended my relationship with my ex boyf of 6 years. i was with him since i was 18.he was violent and very controlling. im still getting used to the single life but am worried that i will never find my "Mr Right". My husband and I have been asked to be Godparents for friends that we are already godparents for,( their first child is our god son).Here is my situation, My husband is Mexican and I am not, the couple are both Mexican, my husband says that once they ask you to be God parents you can not say no out of respect, my problem is I can't afford to do it. In the Mexican culture, the GP buy the clothes, pay the church, help make the party and buy a special gift. I have 3 kids of my own to take care of.I want to hear from Mexicans, what would happen if we said no?

Ever since i started my periods at 12 years of age,i am now 23, i have had crippling pain,nothing has ever helped this pain or even took the edge off it,even tablets prescribed by the doctor.i went on the pill 6 years ago hoping tht would make the pain a little easier to stand,but again,nothing changed,i was still in agony every month.then about a year ago now i came off the pill,and unbelievably the 5 or 6 periods i have had in the last year since coming off the pill (only 5 or 6 as it has obviously took a while for my body to get back to normal) have given me no pain at all,i hardly know im on my period,which is unbelievable to me as i have suffered terrible period pain for so long,can anybody tell me why this may be??? ps-i have not had a baby in this time,as i hear once you have a baby your periods can become less painfull

I seldom go to operas. Tears came down last night soon as the overture of Le Nozze Di Figaro started. I am not familiar with the tunes from the opera. Why did that happen? There doesn't seem to have any known reason behind. It's just like a reflex.

Him and I met at a club the other night and he said that he was gay and that nobody knew that he was, he hadn't come out yet. . He was cute and we got a long quite well, we made out and **** and he wanted to meet up another night. We walked, held hands, and his two girl friends both thought we looked cute together. So I called him the day that we wanted to meet up and left him some texts and never heard anything from him. I got a message from him this morning saying that he is straight and told me that he only messes around when he is drunk and if he gets drunk again he'd give me a call. What kind of straight dude likes to mess around with a guy when he is drunk? I don't know what I should say back to him im just fücking confused.

I know there are a lot of kits that can turn any electrical outlet into a phone extension, but this is different. I have a phone jack on one wall, and a regular business phone in the middle of a table of a large room. I don't want to run a cord all the way from the wall to the phone. I'd rather plug a device into the wall jack, and plug the phone into a little box that can talk to the box I plugged into the jack. Kind of a wireless "bridge" using Bluetooth or something. Does this exist?
